Hotel Antwerp Billard Palace

Stayed at Billard Palace for 4 nights and I chose it purely for the €50 per night price tag. I had good communication with all staff at reception and they were friendly and helpful. Location is pure genius, literally one minute walk from the magnificent railway station, next to various shops and restaurants. The public areas of the hotel look rather tatty and dirty but my room was actually quite nice. The bed was comfortable, tv in full working order, moderate temperatures and bathroom clean and functional. It was positioned towards the rear so no noises from the street at all. The only downside was that during one night I was woken up by guests in another room enjoying themselves quite intimately. So yes, the walls are thin. Next time in Antwerp, I will happily stay again, as long as I get such a good deal again.
