B&B Masschersheule

This is a very beautiful B&B in a very quiet location with very friendly welcoming hosts in Sophie and Christophe. It was my 2nd visit there. The breakfast and views of Damme was fantastic and I would highly recommend this B&B to anyone wanting to visit Bruges in the future 

I had a great time spending two nights in this amazing place with it's beautiful scenery. Sophie hosted us in her beautifully renovated barn surrounded by sheep. The place is very nice and very quiet. Sophie is a great host and the breakfast is amazing. A weekend in B&B Massersheule is the perfect treatment to escape the daily busy life.

Despite the lack of a GPS, we did find the farm, after only one wrong turn!

After a very warm welcome from Sophie, we were shown the Ground Floor Family Room, which forms part of a Barn Conversion.

The Room is lovely and the En-Suite imaginatively designed, with one of the best Showers experienced on our trip!

Whilst not strictly a working farm, the presence of Hens around the Garden, Sheep in an adjacent field and an Orchard, gives a real country feel to the place -very relaxing!

Restaurants in Damme tend to be quite expensive, but we had a very enjoyable and good value meal, on our first night, in the Estaminet, by the Canal.

We ate in on our last night, having done a Supermarket shop in Bruges, but only after we met Sophie's Family for a drink in the their adjacent House.

Breakfasts, taken in the House, were delicious, with a wide selection of Bread, Croissants etc to choose from, along with Boiled Egg, Ham, Cheese, Yoghurt, Fruit and Jams.

As we were the only Guests, we had very pleasant chats with Sophie , each morning and learned a lot about Belgian life and the Farm.

We would highly recommend here as an alternative to staying in Bruges, which is very easy to reach by car from Damme, or on the Pleasure Boat which plies the Canal.

Sophie and her husband were very warm hosts who gave us a nice welcome. The breakfast includes croissants, eggs and several choices of delicatessen and cheese and is served on the terrace when the weather permits. 
The room is big enough for a family of 4 with a decent size table. 
The main selling point for us was the café with vintage bar, pooltable and fussball table. The kids loved it and it was free so they could fool around with it. 
You can't see the neighbours because they are hundreds of yards away, there are no major roads so it is really quiet.  
Lovely people and the price was right. I would be surprised if we never go back.
