Healthy Horizons Beach Apartments

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Healthy Horizons, and we would highly recommend it to anyone. Where to start? Tamara is lovely and so helpful, and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. We stayed in a studio and then in an apartment, and both were spotlessly clean and very well appointed. The beds were very comfortable, and it's amazing to hear the waves on the beach just outside the window! There is also A/C for those who prefer it. The location is just perfect. Situated on the Boardwalk in Hastings, it's just minutes to a few nice beaches, many great restaurants and cafes, and all the necessary amenities. We will definitely be back! 

Trevor Pam and Tamara made us  feel very welcome.   You walk out through the garden gate, onto the broadwalk and onto the beach.    There is a high quality restuarant attached, and a great place for drinks on the beach next door.   They help you with car hire if you want it.   The air conditioning is great, the rooms are very roomy.   The kitchens are good.    10 minutes if traffic is good from Bridgetown.

My husband Ray T. needed to get away and our friend from Barbados recommended Healthy Horizons Apartments. Great place centrally located to all shopping restaurants and bars. Ocean is in your backyard. Pam and Trevor the owners are extremely nice people they want you to have a nice stay. The building is kept well and the apartments are very clean. Will be coming back along with my wife!  P.S. Royal and Scotia bank 3 min walking distance away! What more could you ask for! Thank you Pam and Trevor! Ray.

We had a great time in our Barbados vacation staying at healthy horizons in a studio . The owner Pam is attentive and caring. The staff were friendly and helpful. The unit had everything we needed and is located on the ocean along the boardwalk in an area that in a short walk you can get anything you need. Great for early morning walks along the oceanfront very relaxing. Thanks again to Pam and her staff. 

This location is so perfect; it is right off the south coast of barbados, you just walk right out your room to the beach. Healthy Horizons is a block away from local restaurants you can walk in either directions to find something to eat. The Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. This is one of the best locations i stayed in. The room had an area where you can fix a meal and a full size refrigerator.

I now stay here every trip. I love the location of the apartments - walking distance to several restaurants, shops and very, very close to Accra (Rockley) beach. The owners are very helpful and the apartments are simple but very clean (serviced 3 times a week). There is wifi and a pay-to-use washer and dryer.

We stayed in the upstairs 2 bedroom unit.  The main living area was spacious with kitchen, dining room, and living room.  AC units are only in the bedrooms, so the main area can get hot.  There is a balcony off the living room which was lovely to sit on and watch the ocean and boardwalk.  The ocean is a little rough near the hotel, but you can walk down the boardwalk to another area and catch a ride to the southwest for calmer beaches.  It would be nice if the balcony door had screens.  We had birds fly in when we left the door open.  Also,the bathroom could use some updating, but it is usable.  There is an outdoor shower to get the sand off.  This location has great access to everything.  It is easy to catch a bus or taxi.  Plenty of food options around.  Great price and I would stay there again.  Trevor and Pam were great.

Hidden Gem

Fantastic location

Great Price, Great Location

Stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment second floor.    View absolutely fabulous and wonderful location.   Very convenient to shops, grocery and restaurants!   Directly on the boardwalk so you can walk to and from great eating venues such as Tapas!   
Apartment in desperate need of an upgrade!  Courtyard dirty and not user friendly.  Beach access to  Acra Beach Hotel where you can rent beach chairs and umbrellas was where we went.  Many things broken and missing. Had to clean the dishes and kitchen before using and request cleaning supplies.  2nd bedroom bed desperate need of replacing.  Disappointing interior at best.  A/C in Master not working on arrival.  Not fixed for 2 days.  Everything was repaired and items asked for provided but all in all would not recommend. We chose to leave before the end of our commitment.  Great location, poor accommodation.
