VERY friendly Familie Egger went far beyond expectations to make our ski vacation delightful and to accommodate some unexpected health circumstances, which required a substantial rearrangement of our lodging and lots of unusual requests. Though the Montafon is not well-known among Americans, we have found excellent English spoken at Apartments Max! And the skiing here is as beautiful, varied and challenging as anywhere in Austria -- but the town is a real town, quieter and less touristy than most other Austrian resorts. If you want to dance on tables for apres-ski, forget the Montafon! But if you want SPECTACULAR views, a friendly welcome and the taste of the best Austrian hospitality, you must visit Apartments Max!
