Hotel Aberseehof

We went to Upper Austria in mid-September. Abersee was one of the stops of our 3 day trip and it was the last one. Abersee is located on the shore of St. Wolfgang Lake between two beautiful towns, St. Gilgen and Strobl which you can reach both of them in about a 5 minute drive. The weather was very nice on the day we arrived to Hotel Aberseehof. We came to Aberseehof one more time in October since we really enjoyed the September holiday so much and we stayed two days of the 4 day trip this time. The weather got cold in October but was still lovely, fresh and energising! Even the snow arrived to the peaks of the mountains. First of all, the hotel is managed very professionally. You see that when you check-in. You are met with a professional and a friendly approach. You get all the info about the hotel, area and also about the private beach which is about 1.5 kms away. I have to say we really enjoyed the beach and the lake when we went to Abersee in September. If the weather is nice and warm, you should not miss it! We stayed at two different types of rooms. Both were so spacious and very comfortable rooms. The room with a view to the garden and mountains to both sides is just beautiful. The breakfast is excellent with quality food and nice service. The hotel is simply modern and so comfortable with everything you can ask for for a perfect accommodation. Simply, Abersee is a beauty and Aberseehof is one of the best of Abersee!
