I have been staying at the hotel for several years when I come for 8 days of Skiing in the spring. The location could not be any better. Right in the center of Scheffau 2 minutes from the ski bus stop and the local grocery store. The Gasthof has been remodeled and updated so the rooms have modern bathrooms and furniture. When skiing I do choose the option with breakfast and diner included . The menu for dinner is amazing ( 3 options)and includes a generous appetizer /dessert buffet). Breakfast has everything you every wanted to eat including scrambled eggs and bacon . The staff is very friendly . Many of the waiters have been there for years. It is nice to see the familiar faces when arriving there. A one week stay is fairly priced . You can even request to get your lift tickets delivered to the Gasthof. Do not hesitate to stay there when trying to elect a place for your vacation.
