Haus Rattenböck

You could not ask for a more warm welcome when we arrived and met Gerlinde and Christophe for the first time. We all felt at home straightaway and they were so helpful with plenty of local info and maps from Gerlinde, who is an absolute treasure trove of information. Our rooms were spotless and beautifully presented with lots of nice touches and so comfortable. The view from the rooms is magnificent looking across the lake to the snow tipped mountains in the distance. Bliss. Breakfast was quite a shock! So much fabulous food. So much to get through! Lots of rolls and croissants, cake, eggs, cold meats, cheeses, freshly prepared fruit, super coffee and tea. Sorry Gerlinde that we did not do it all justice. Choice, quality and presentation were superb. Location is quiet and peaceful with a lovely 10 minute walk to the centre of St Wolfgang and all it has to offer. Overall this was a splendid stay with such lovely people. We will never forget the great hospitality and welcome we were given. Thank you Gerlinde and Christophe! Janet, Peter, Alison and Mark
