We've just had a 3 night stay here, as a family of 4. Great guesthouse, breakfast is plentiful, very warm welcome from all the family. The use of boat and SUP boards were such a treat, my daughter tried SUP for the 1st time here and loved it. Its lovely and peaceful. Id come here to relax and recharge. We hope to come back again someday. The setting is unforgettable. I would recommend 


We stayed in this hotel in June 2017 for 4 nights. The hotel location is excellent right on the shore of Lake Wolfgangsee. Our hotel room looked out onto the lake which was perfect. The hotel itself is modern and stylish and has all the amenities you could need. Breakfast was very nice.

The owners of the hotel are warm and welcoming. Such a sweet family who run a wonderful hotel. 

Highly recommended hotel in an amazing area of Austria. 

Really great small hotel that has been recently renovated to high standards. Welcoming owners that seem to live to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. The views are outstanding. The only drawback is several stairs that could cause concern with anyone having mobility issues. 

We stayed here only one night which was too few. We will definitely come back here again when we have another opportunity.
The room is clean and it is the typically ‚Garni‘ style hotel. It is not 5 stars hotel so it is nice in its way.
The host is friendly and the breakfast is ok. 
There is no air conditioner which is also typical in Austria and Germany :)

Recharge and relax by the lakeside 

Great view, warm hospitality, clean 

Lovely hotel, excellent location

Stay here if you want a beautiful view over Wolfgangsee. 

My husband and I were promised a lake-view room for the first four nights and a mountain view room for the next three nights. The lake-view room was nice but the 'mountain' view room was more like a tiny little window facing the dirt and some grass on top. The room was very dark, outdated, sheets worn out and stitched up, bathroom very old and there was no fan or toilet paper holder. The toilet also had a very bad, old design where everything stays in the open. We would not give this room even one star and we are very savvy travellers. 
After seeing this room we went to see the husband owner to tell him politely and apologetically that we are not happy with the room and that it is not what was expected. He was rude and very unfriendly in the way he spoke to us telling us that we have to pay for the first day anyway when we hadn't even used the room yet. We accepted it and continued being friendly with him, whereas he held a grudge and bitterness towards us for the rest of our stay. We felt very unwelcomed which really spoiled our stay. No one should feel this way on their holiday. This was very unprofessional from him. 
Besides that the husband and the wife don't seem to have good social skills which is essential in a hospitality industry. Also they treat certain guests better than others - with a coffee and cookies as a welcome on their arrival, where they make others feel left out. 
On one of our days we asked the husband owner for some cutlery and a plastic bag for our picnic we were planning and he seemed very annoyed by the request. 
Otherwise this accomodation has the worst pillows we have ever encountered - I would not even call them pillows. Also the wifi was very poor and you had to re-log on frequently which was annoying.
To summarise, we would definitely not recommend this accommodation due to the very unfriendly and unwelcoming hospitality. You would think that it shouldn't affect your stay but it definitely does when someone is so rude to your face. We come from Australia where we have a very friendly culture and this accommodation's hospitality was very far from it.
