We stayed at Haus Rofan on a recent visit to alpbachtal. The accommodation is exceptional, very comfortable beds, clean and well appointed rooms, and a great breakfast to start your day. The hosts were very accommodating and provided us with gluten free alternatives at breakfast. In terms of amenity, Haus Rofan has some parking on site, ski storage and heated boot room, plus a very nice sauna. It’s also centrally located in Reith for access to local bars/restaurants/shops, the H&N ski hire shop, and Reith Ski-jewel lift station is directly opposite, as is the bus stop that can take you further up (or down) the valley. The bus service appeared to run hourly from brixlegg train station, through Reith and Alpbach, up to inner Alpbach (highest resort in alpbachtal), and is free when using the Alpbach card which is given to guests on their arrival at Haus Rofan (funded by daily tourist tax). Overall, a very comfortable stay in what must be the best guest house in the whole valley.
