Landhaus Alpbachtal

My wife and I were seeking a romantic getaway in the Alps during the fall low season, and were very happy with our experience in Dagmar's place. She has several apartments of different sizes on the upper floor of her home in the middle of a small village, very close to a ski lift and a short drive to the larger lifts in Alpbach. Our apartment was spotlessly clean, with quality modern appliances in the small kitchen, comfortable bed, and views over fields toward the mountains. There is a large grocery a short walk away. But most importantly for us, Dagmar and her husband Lois were gracious hosts, giving us excellent advice on what to see and do in the area during our short but memorable stay. We really enjoyed the Museum of Tyrolean Farms, walks in the mountains, the nearby community "herb garden", and the picturesque village of Alpbach. The tourist cards that were included in our room rate gave us free lift rides and free entry to the Farm Museum, a nice bonus.
