BIO Betrieb Saumerhof

We stayed here for 3 nights. The main reason was that our daughter wanted to learn to ride horses. There are three apartments (I think). Ours was big size with two separate bedrooms, terrace and bathroom with shower and separate toilet. The equipment of the kitchen is simple (too simple for our liking) and you need to bring all the condiments as well as washing up liquid which took us a bit by surprise. But the price is only 85 eur per night and that includes dachstein summer card which is absolutely priceless as it gives you most of the top attractions in the region for free including trip to the dachstein glacier! The accommodation was fine. The farm had horses, cows, chickens (eg fresh eggs), cats and bunnies. Our daughter loved it and didn’t want to leave. The horse riding lessons are actually also well priced - for private lesson 22 eur for 30 mins or 28 for 50 mins. You can do some cool hikes directly from the farm, including a great alm (restaurant) Sonnenhof which the owners recommended to us. Overall very nice experience. Would be happy to come back
