Thanks for the good yoga instructions, for the many preparations, thanks for the good time in Alpenretreat. Cordial and very commited staff, and great surroundings with several Alpen trails and lakes. 

I am writing in response to the 1 star review with such unnecessary, unfare, negative comments.
'The rooms are all different.' Why is that a problem? I have stayed in many of the rooms over the years + they are all beautiful in their own individual ways. How can you say that meals are prepared 'without love',  were you in the kitchen? Feeding so many people, buffet style two + three times a day has to be challenging, how much 'love' couldn't you taste!! Tea bags! Really!! There is the largest assortment of different, assorted, all organic tea, 24hrs a day!! Maybe you should carry your own. You are not being charge 5star prices by any means but clearly what you are expecting. You get far far more than what you pay for at their retreat, be grateful + thankful, you clearly are far to hard to please.

I visited AlpenRetreat again for the 5 day Heart Opening Meditation Retreat with Elly & Wolfgang. I had been there before and it is still a a great place to rest and enjoy the beautiful surrounding area. The lodging is a wonderful rustic house that has great energy and warmth. Great views and delightful staff that help Elly and Wolfgang run the operations. Weather looking for a great retreat, some beautiful hiking trails in stunning nature and emerald lakes or just looking to recharge your batteries in a warm supporting place, staying at the AlpenRetreat is a decision that you’ll be glad you made.

Great to share rooms and deeply connect with people and heart. This place has a soul and is great to be for just being. To remind yourself, that we are all human beings, not human doings! Love the nurishing healthy food so much, thanks for the love you prepared it with. I am so thankfully for everyting!

The atmosphere in this beautiful old building is just wonderful! The cozy, beautifully furnished rooms are really welcoming, everything is set up with care and love, without any ‚kitsch‘ and the light-filled Buddha Hall under the roof is perfect for practicing. 

The food that was served is simply among the best I had on any vacation, tasty and healthy! I will ask for the recipe newsletter 🙂 

All staff members I met were helpful, caring and authentic. You really felt how this is not just a job for them but they wanted to support each guest by heart. 

The surroundings of the Retreat give you a breathtaking look on mountains and forests, sometimes accompanied by sheep bells. Due to the close Fernpass road, you also hear sounds from there, but they are not very distracting. It is really nice to explore the area were you find little mountain streams, valleys and lakes. 

I will definitively visit this place of beauty, peace and care again soon 😌

The AlpenRetreat is a very special place. Not only will you find a home away from home, filled with love and connectedness, but also an oasis of calmness and inspiration that will allow you to go deeper into your practices of yoga and meditation and to connect back with yourself and nature. The surroundings are beautiful - the retreat is located in the midst of the Austrian alps, you can easily walk to rivers and lakes to take a refreshing bath. The house is super cozy, each room is furnished and decorated individually and with lots of love. You will be spoiled with healthy happy food that will nourish your body and your soul. No matter if you like to spend time outdoors or cuddle up inside, if you want to go into the stillness of yoga/meditation or connect with wonderful people, all of it will be possible in this magical place.

The hotel is situated in a lovely setting, near crystal clear lake Blindsee. The staff was beyond helpful, the food delicious and the atmosphere relaxing. Definitely a great place to stay if you want to relax and enjoy the nature.

I went not knowing what to expect and felt right at home. The beauty of the area, property and house is incomparable. It's perfect for the experience I hoped to have. I attended a breath work retreat with breathe-beyond and it was life changing. I have to say, there is now a before and after this experience. One that it now ingrained in my very being. I have so much gratitude for the facilitators, angels who helped prepare meals and the house and founders of this center.

AlpenRetreat is a one-of-it's-kind, as the retreat-hotel is a family business with very authentic and idealistic founders: the hotel focuses on spiritual-/ yoga retreats. I stayed here three times, and each stay is a special time due to the openminded people, the inspiring atmosphere and the mountain surroundings.

I stayed at the Alpenretreat for 4 weeks in May 2019 while doing my yoga-teacher-training with Satya Loka. I simply loved my stay. The yoga hall is beautiful. The rooms and bathrooms are comfortable. The stube is very cozy. The food is amazing, it is vegan-friendly. There are great walks just outside the door :) I very much hope to return again and again. <3

We visited the Alpenretreat for the "Breathwork & Yoga Retreat" weekend and we were absolutely impressed by the location and the people. You feel welcome the minute you walk inside. It's such an amazing place with wonderful and open-hearted hosts. You could feel all the energy in the house and we loved every minute of it. We will be back for sure :)
