Aparthotel Acksteiner

We just returned home yesterday after a wonderful one-week stay. Owners/hosts Hannes & Antonella greeted us upon arrival as old friends and looked after us the entire time. Their lovely apartment/hotel is perfectly located within 2 - 4 minutes walking distance of both the Rendl and Galzig gondolas and is well-maintained with lots of little touches and extras that make it so special. This was our 7th winter trip to St. Anton, and our second time staying at Haus Acksteiner in suite #200. As before, the suite was clean and quiet. It has a comfortable double bed, full-shower/bath, sitting area, dining table, well-equipped mini-kitchenette, and a great mountain view of the Galzig side over the main traffic circle. The housekeepers cleaned our suite well each day and stocked it with fresh towels and supplies whenever needed. A secure ski-storage depot with boot heaters and a luggage storage room is on the bottom floor. Every morning before taking the short walk to the lifts, we were treated to a full breakfast buffet laid out with plenty of fresh pastries, juices, and fruits along with made-to-order crepes, omelets, and coffee-drinks. The guest floor has a well-stocked espresso and tea station accessible day and night. Downstairs there’s a soothing spa with wet and dry saunas, a relaxation lounge, infrared physiothermal booth, large shower, and plenty of soft towels. We were supplied with cozy robes and slippers. In the evenings we enjoyed some of St. Anton’s great restaurants, bars, and shops that are an easy walk from the Acksteiner. Our week was perfect. We will be staying at Haus Acksteiner when we come back to St. Anton next year.
