Heart Hotel Grischuna

We retired to Hotel Grischuna in January after visiting 3 years ago. The original trip (skiers and snowboarders) was fondly remembered for the fantastic service, friendly staff and great hotel eg breakfast and spa area but the return was even better. Amazingly, the staff remembered us from our previous stay and were incredibly helpful. In particular, Alex was fantastic and his attention to detail, helpfulness and proactive approach meant that we were incredibly well looked after at breakfast and in the evenings at the bar. For example, helping us order pizza to be delivered when deciding on a night at the hotel bar to watch the football or remembering our favourite schnapps from our previous visit! Besides the amazing staff, the hotel is great for ski trips with the outdoor pool and spa area, which is ideal after a good day on the slopes. Rooms are very modern with some great views of the mountain. A lift service to town is available at certain times if you don’t fancy the short but very steep walk into the main town centre and ski lift area. Unfortunately no food is served in the evenings (at the time of our visit) but there was a great restaurant a few yards outside the he hotel and up the hill, alongside some more restaurants on the hill into town. Thoroughly recommended.
