We had a very pleasant stay in this family hotel. The hotel was very clean, we had a large room at the front side of the hotel with a very nice view over Tarrenz. The food was delicious and the service excellent! We will definitely come back for a next holiday!

Family Dexters-Jamers 

We loved the quiet location of the hotel. Our room had a balcony with a small table and two chairs. The view was awesome, a panoramic view of the mountains and the town of Tarrenz below. We found our room to be outdated and the furnishings to be quite old as well, from the 80s at best! I could faintly smell smoke and wondered if the hotel recently became non-smoking. Likely due to the smoke residue in the room and the years of dust and whatever else settling into the upholstery, I woke up each morning with an allergy headache and congestion which would clear as soon as I left our room. We did not find the welcoming, home-like atmosphere that we've found at other guesthouses in Tirol. The staff was not very friendly when we checked-in. They were busy serving dinner and seemed to see us waiting at the counter, but did not come over until we rang the bell. They also seemed to be a little grumpy when we came down for breakfast the next morning. We felt like we were putting them out by taking our breakfast that we were paying for (you can have breakfast or breakfast and dinner included in your hotel rate). We also found some of the rolls to be stale and the selection meager. That night, the hotel was the venue for a wedding, thus we had trouble sleeping due to the musicians and fireworks. The next morning, we did find the staff to be more friendly and there was a better and more fresh breakfast selection. We wondered if this was because of the presence of the wedding party. We were not pleased to find that our car was coated in fireworks residue from the wedding. Overall, the hotel is clean enough and redeemed by it's views, but if you are looking for a welcoming place to stay, I would keep looking.
