I stayed here in 2016, and it was the the best value in Zurs…. The operator was unique, taking me for a tour of Zurs with her two dogs one morning. Unable to find the place on the internet,  I stopped by recently,and it was vacant….

If you are looking for the perfect ski in/out location, a throwback, family-friendly feel and great hosts, breakfasts and mingling with other guests, this is your spot.  Fiona is a wonderful B&B host and creates a family atmosphere. Guests congregate in the common areas, share stories and play cards with a glass of wine by the fire.  Zurs is quiet, with top-end restaurants and high speed lift access to some of the best skiing in Austria.  But if y a place that people return to year after year, a place with a casual, homey, comfortable feel but privacy and quiet in your room and located 10 steps from the lift, Snowho is a great choice.  

If you are looking for a hotel with a concierge, or to cocoon in your room all afternoon rather than ski and you want to be pampered in the sauna, pool and steam room, then other Zurs hotels will be a better fit.  But if you want to ski, eat and laugh in a great B&B, pet the dogs, eat well and meet new friends, Snowho is a fantastic choice.

Snowhö was everything a ski resort bed and breakfast should be, cozy, friendly, clean, fun.  Beyond that, everyone there is sweet, nice, friendly and helpful.  The location couldn't be closer to the lift, it's also convenient to other hotels and restaurants, as well as very close to the ski school.  The rooms are comfortable but you won't spend a lot of time in your room, because the common room is where the guests hang out to play fooseball and sit near the fireplace.  It's great for kids as well as adults and we can't wait to go back as soon as possible.  It's not five star luxury, but that isn't what we look for in a ski hotel.  We want authentic people, good food, friendly guests and gracious hosts.  That is what we found in Snowhö.  Overall, a 10 out of 10.

Nice hotel at an perfect location. Very personal feeling through out the hotel, Fiona is an excellent host and will makes you feel at home. The room was small but sufficient. We had to use the shared bathrooms, which where very clean and comfortable too. The livingroom is great, with a good fireplace. There isn't a hotel bar, but guests are allowed to get beer and wine from the fridge in the kitchen. Just put everything on a tab/piece of paper and it will be charged on checkout. Nice! We really liked the dogs too! 
Downside: Zürs is a little 'hotel' village, not much going around when the lifts close. The Milchbar across Snowho is perfect for lunch and a beer after ski-ing/snowboarding, but isn't a typical bar to hang around for hours.

Snowhö is Sooooooo Amazing

Snowho is alot more reasonably priced than many places in Zurs and Lech. I booked the last available room 9 days before my stay. Staying by myself for 4 nites I got a first floor decent sized double bedroom with a balcony and from the bathroom/corridor windows a fine view of the mountains.. My room also had a 28 inch tv with many stations including BBC. Snowho is conveniently located 30 metres from a ski lift and 30 metres from the main road and the bus stop to St Anton and Lech.. Even tho my room was on the first floor directly above the dining room and reception the wifi was not always good. The bathroom light did not work the nite I arrived and the girl who showed me around saw this. The next morning I mentioned the bathroom light not working to the lady running Snowho but that nite and the following nite the light had not been fixed. On sunday morning I mentioned again to the owner that the light was still not working but by sunday night it was not fixed. I booked thru booking.com who emailed their confirmation that i had booked and stated that Snowho would contact me to arrange payment in advance by bank transfer as credit card is not accepted. I never received contact from Snowho to arrange payment so in order to confirm the booking I rang Snowho the day before I travelled to ensure they had my booking. The manager is friendly and I had a pleasant stay there otherwise but the bathroom light not being fixed was disappointing
