Apartments Sonnenheim Kaprun

7 of us (2 families) stayed in the 2 bedroom Kitz apartment. In the run up to the holiday we had a number of problems (of our own making) meaning changes to our arrangements - Julia was extremely helpful in sorting them and then even arranging ski passes ready for us in the apartment when we arrived late at night, so we could hit the slopes first thing the next morning. Even with 7 of us it still felt as though we had plenty of space in the apartment, though we didn't spend too much time there as the skiing was so good and the apartment came with free passes to the super modern Spa complex, just a short drive / 15 minute walk away. We used the Tauern Spa passes most days and enjoyed cold beers in the fantastic outdoor spa pool, while the kids rampaged round the rest of the spa. The Skiing was excellent, with guaranteed snow on the glacier and plenty of fresh snow when we visited in early April. We had a fantastic trip and would recommend Sonnenheim to anyone looking for a great place to stay in Kaprun. I would especially recommend this holiday to families, as the ski area is fantastic for children, yet contained and very safe, while the free passes to the Tauern Spa provide fantastic relaxation for adults and keep the kids occupied in the evenings.
