Pension Astoria

The hotel is situated in the vicinity of Hochzeiger ski resort. It's a relatively small hotel in about 10 minutes' walking distance (if you walk wearing your ski boots) to the ski lifts. The hotel is very well kept and looked after. Separate rooms for skis storage and ski boots storage are a very good bonus. The hotel is also equipped with 3 saunas. It offers some pass time opportunities, such as ping-pong and table football (locals call it kicker). It also has a room for kids to play and have fun. The rooms are well kept, clean and tidy. I stayed there with friends. We've had a really big room with two double bedrooms and a bi nice hall. The room had separate WC and bathroom. All the furniture and WC equipment, though not new, was in a good condition. There also was a small kitchen with a tiny fridge - very useful and comfy thing. The room had a large balcony with a terrific view on the Alps. Food was superb. Very tasty. And there was a lot of it. Every evening there was a five-course (!!!!!!) dinner. With the main course to be chosen out of 3 different dishes. And 1 of those 3 would always be a vegetarian dish. The staff was always helpful. General impression is very good. Something i would have never expected if told by a stranger. It's a quiet place, perferct spot to spend some time with your family or friends. I would definately recommend it to everyone!
