Landhaus Gensbichler

I spent one week skiing and sightseeing with two of my children, 17 and 23 years old. The house has a unique location where you can step into your skies and glide down to both Hoch Almbahn and the Zwölfer Nordbahn. Thus you can reach two different mountains without Walking The apartment is clean, cosy and offers all basic functionality you need. Everything in the house is in excellent shape and well organized. We could easily stove all our Winter gear and other stuff in the closets and drawers. The kitchen is in traditional Austrian design with a corner sofa and a view over the valley and Hinterglemm. The balcony is on the sunny side of the house and there are some sun chairs to sit on. The bathroom is quite large with several hooks and shelves. Extra plus for the heating. We could easily adjust temperature with the radiators. The house offers a shoe room where we kept our ski boots and helmets and out door shoes. There are radiators to get your ski boots dry and warm. In the garage (4 steps away from the piste) there are ski racks for all guests. We hade lunch every day att Sonnhof, in the ski pist. Excellent! and cooked break fast and some dinner in the apartement kitchen. There are supermarkets in every village. In some afternoons we made some sight seeing and had dinner in Hinterglemm, Saalbach and Zell am See. The host family made me feel safe and welcome. They are attentive and offer extra service like fresh bread in the morning, directions for where to find the best snow and paths in the ski system.
