Jugendhotel Mitterlengau

This is an extremely well equipped hotel for school groups. Visited here as part of a party of 47 (41 students and 6 staff). All of the party were on one floor - student sharing toilet and showering facilities and staff with en-suite rooms. There are two floors which could either accommodate a larger group or another school. There are two dining rooms - again, great if there are two different parties at the same time. The food is excellent. Portions are plentiful and the food extremely tasty, fresh and of good quality. There is a private staff room just off one of the dining room. There is also space for skis, alongside a heated boot room. The staff are extremely efficient, friendly and helpful and the hotel is spotlessly clean and everything you would want for a school trip. The only downside to this hotel is that it's at the top of a hill, with a very steep, unlit and often icy road. Apart from that, it's pretty perfect for school parties and groups of skiers in the area, just a 5 minute bus journey from the main slopes of Hinterglemm (bus stop at the bottom of the hotel's access road. 👍
