We stayed at Hotel Vital for a week. The scenery is so pretty looking our your window. but being the middle of July and AC was needed. No elevator and to get to our room we had to climb up about 6 flights of stairs. The family that runs this hotel are super nice. Very clean and the woman who is charge of the hotel tries hard to prepare a good breakfast. If you sign up for dinner it is 16 Euros. A little pricey for a dumpling in a bowl and snitzel. The hotel is located not too far from Villach, Austria but you will need a rental car to get there. My husband summed it up this way when he saw the old looking furniture in our room when he said...."Just think of it has camping in a cabin."
