Pension Wieser "Baschtlmai"

We happened into this charming village after a long day of driving. We were cranky, tired and ready for something that wasn’t our car! We LUCKED out finding Pension Weiser! Our triple room was spacious perfection with a comfortable balcony that gave us views of the mountains (rainbow included) our host’s beautifully tended garden and neighboring farm lands. I sleep like a baby and when jet lag had me awake at 2AM I experienced the quietest night I’ve ever known as I ventured out on the balcony. Although we had a serious language barrier, our experience here proves that the language of hospitality and kindness transcends the spoken word. We were welcomed into our host’s home as if we were long lost family. We fell in love with every small aspect of this cozy guesthouse. Breakfast was of traditional European fare and it was exactly what we needed to start our day. The coffee was made by angels and the homemade jam was divine. We got to take some home with us and protected it fiercely all the back to Colorado. My next drive through Austria will absolutely include this lovely home. We wish we could’ve taken our host back home with us! We love her.
