About a 20 minute drive from Launceston and as pretty as a picture. John and Lesley are the perfect hosts and make you feel welcome as soon as you drive up the driveway, We stayed 7 nights in the Lilypad, it had everything we needed including the most fantastic window to view the green rolling hills and farmlands from. This view changed everyday to include fluffy clouds, geese, horses and chickens just to name a few. The bed was very comfortable, the modern bathroom was very clean as was the loft. A short 2 minute drive or 10 minute walk to the town of Lilydale and you will find the perfect bakery/coffee shop, an IGA, the local tavern and a takeaway shop. There is also a pharmacy and petrol station. I highly recommend booking at Cherrytop Farmstay if you’re looking for a little peace and quiet away from the hustle and bustle.
