Room very tired and dated. 4 guests staying in room but only 1 face washer provided - not sure if we were all supposed to share it?!  We did have enough soap and shampoo provided to keep us going for a week even though we were inly staying one night.  
Room hot and air-con ineffective.
Had dinner in the hotel - all I can say is we were provided with over-priced slop.  Staff were vague and unhelpful.
Whole experience was exceptionally disappointing and didn’t match up to prior experiences has in SW Rocks.

Disappointing all round!

Visited twice and the cocktails overpriced, with no taste and not worth it. Not made properly. Service good with enough staff, food ordinary.
Ps. MOHITOS ARE MUDDLED! IF YOU CHARGE$22,get it right...


Disappointing 

We dined at the pub - with a vibe like Byron Bay 30 years ago, before it was ruined.
Great food, really friendly service, prices were right, but the ambience was what made it.
Having never before been to SW Rocks, we’ll be back before it becomes another Byron Bay.

Like old Byron Bay

A large group of mature gentlemen rode to SW Rocks for the ANZAC weekend, staying at the Seabreeze Hotel across the road from Horseshoe Beach and within a stone’s throw of the cenotaph.
The hotel featured off-road parking, clean twin-share rooms and a bustling bar/bistro & bottlo, all critical factors for blokes looking for a place to stay after a hard day’s riding.
A toaster was specially provided in our room at our request which was much appreciated. The rooms would have also benefited from a microwave.
The hotel’s ideal location in town allows easy access to nearby attractions, surf club, restaurants & cafes.
Finally, Seabreeze put on free coffee, ANZAC biscuits and B&E rolls post the Dawn service for all comers, a noteworthy and generous gesture.

Novocycle ANZAC weekend

Strongly suggest you stay elsewhere. Also read all the reviews. I did not since it was close to where family was staying. The bathroom was grungy and moldy (see pics). The room had a strong disinfectant smell that took 3 days of open windows to get rid of. They gave us one key at check in which needs to be in a slot by the door to have electricity. The next morning my husband went out early to watch birds and couldn’t back in. I went out to let him up but our one key would not work in the only access door. So I sat on the steps in my pajamas for 40 minutes until another guest opened the door. No one was at reception at 8 am to help, no one answered the phone, there was no after hours number. When we did talk with reception they told us they are “in the process of updating all the keys”. No one ever cleaned our room even though they are supposed to every 3 days. Reception said it was cleaned yesterday but no one had been there. So they brought fresh towels and emptied the trash. There was no dish soap or sponge or paper towels to clean our dishes. Bring earplugs because you are over the pub. The food there is mediocre and the service slow. The woman at reception is lovely but that doesn’t make up for the rest. I won’t stay here again and told all my relatives to warn people.

Food was nice but for a pub very expensive but  it’s a captive market - service from the younger crew behind the bar was great but the old female battle axe dressed in the all blue Corporate attire was rude and inpatient to myself and other customers. The place was not even busy and she was just plain rude when taking our drink orders and that was the memory I will take away rather than all the  good points.

Nice food , but consistent arrogance and rudeness  from one older lady behind the bar.

Did not have a booking and SW Rocks was very busy but glad we stayed here. Comfortable rooms.Reception, bar and hospitality staff all friendly and efficient. Enjoyed our meals, good range of beers and wines. Hard to beat a stay at a good Australian pub.

Comfortable, good value, tasty bistro meals .

Great location with tasty meal. I had the salmon poke bowl and glad I ordered the small as it was full of goodies, nice and fresh. My partner had the chicken and leek pie, big and full of taste.
Love when you get a good value meal. We will definitely come back again.

Excellent Meal

We had dinner on a quiet Sunday night as it was one of the only places open. It was good pub food: the schnitzel was served with excellent chips and the roast pork special was huge. Service was friendly and the atmosphere was what you’d expect for a pub. Overall the dinner was good value for money.

Good Pub Food

We went away last minute for one night and stayed in a family room (1 queen 3 singles). Everything was clean, the beds were comfy, there was a kettle, some cutlery and crockery in the room, staff were friendly and professional. The hotel was in walking distance to several cafes and takeaway shops plus small grocery store and bottle shops. The beach is across the main road and there’s a park for younger kids. Easy drive to clubs, woolworths, Trial Bay Gaol and the lighthouse.
