Baybliss Apartments

We found the property to be modern and sensational in every way. The views on offer must be some of the best from anywhere in the Whitsunday region and the vista is unbelievable from the lower level and must be even more so from the next level up. Whilst it is serene and tranquil the bird life at times are the only disturbance to silence, but what a wonderful way to start the day as the sun rises with an orchestra of differing species and most that we don't get at home. The locals are amazing, amongst them are turtles and large fish(jumping out of the water) that we spotted from our balcony out in the harbour beyond the beautiful pool. We found our room to be spotlessly clean and contained all the appliances required in near new condition and working fine. The wifi in our room also did not miss a beat once we connected correctly from our Apples. Whilst the apartments are less than a 10 minute drive from Airlie Main Street, it is too far to walk but this was a blessing in disguise for us as we have stayed in town before and had to contend with noise including being disturbed in the middle of the night by noisy party people walking home after the bars have closed. The buses run regularly to and from the ferry port just down the road but not late at night time so it is best to rent a car or alternatively use the taxis at night time which are plentiful and reasonably priced. We had a wonderful stay that was great value considering and comparing to the many other properties that we have stayed in over the years in the Airlie Beach area. Thanks to Nathan whom was always available to call and ask a question or recommend something to do or somewhere to visit for the day. We loved the place and will definitely return soon.
