Our stay was wonderful. The limited dining experiences hindered a little of our experience. Maybe having a list of local dining in restaurants and their opening and closing times would be beneficial.

Very comfortable and spacious, and the location is perfect for exploring the area.

Lovely place to stay will definitely be back soon. Spacious rooms and lovely spa bath. Great views and shops, restaurants and bars within walking distance.

The room was lovely and suited our needs perfectly. It’s quite noisy during the day with the cafes open surrounding it but they seemed to be quiet from about 5:30pm. Walking distance to all local shopping and dining options. Unfortunately the check-in/check out service is the only thing that really let us down. The normal receptionist was out and the fill-in didn’t seem to know what was going on and wasn’t friendly or too helpful for our check-in. The office was completely unmanned while we and other guests tried to check out at 9:30am. We gave up waiting and left our keys in the check out box. Overall I’d recommend it any day for the view.

Right in the heart of Montville on main street, this place is great for a quick weekend away and is a great way to just get away from the busy Brisbane life.  Shops and cafes are all just a stroll away and you cannot fault the view. We stayed in the street view apartment and just spent a few hours people watching. The pub across the road had Christmas in July on which made for an amazing after sunset view with the fairy lights etc.

Delightful stay. Spotlessly clean, comfy bed - loved waking to enjoy the most beautiful sunrise, amazing views. Spacious unit with all amenities and supported by interesting shops and great eateries serving delightful healthy creative food choices within easy walking distance. Reservation staff are wonderfully helpful.

Very large apartment with a terrific view from the veranda of the ocean. Really comfortable bed with extremely quiet surrounds. Nice kitchen with all appliances and a huge bathroom with spa bath.There are a couple of things that were a little unsafe. First up the dishwasher wasn't screwed in and we ended up with crockery on the floor once we pulled out both trays due to washer falling forward suddenly.Next was the excessively hot water in the kitchen sink. It was scolding and way above safe levels. We told the building manager about both items however he dismissed them as trivial. They will be small things until someone gets hurt. Anyway if you are careful with the dishwasher and the hot water everything is OK

We had a very brief overnight stay and all was well except the view we had hoped for was a non event due to lots of mist which is no fault of the property. The room was clean , comfortable and had all we needed . We did like the fact the property was within very easy walking distance of several restaurants

Mayfield on Montville is in the perfect location for you to enjoy all that Montville has to offer as it is walking distance to everything.  It has spectacular views over the valley and out to the ocean. So in that regard it is wonderful.The apartments have a cold feeling about them as they are quite large with little furniture. A fire place and some more comfy furniture would give you a more welcoming homely feel.  The bathrooms definitely need some modernising.

We went out for a wedding and just stayed for the one night. Clean and tidy room positioned perfectly in the middle of town. Walk downstairs to amazing restaurant with spectacular views. Had a nice spa bath in room and great views. Staff were lovely and let us check in a bit earlier and leave a bit later.

Great weekend away

Pleasantly surprised about the large size of our room upon arrival. The lovely views were expected but still managed to go beyond our expectations as a completely unobstructed vista.The carpet was fresh and new and the furnishings homey and completely comfortable.Large fridge- new and clean, and kitchen with practically everything necessary for regular meal preparation.Huge spa, great water pressure and plenty of towels, hand towels and face washers.The beds were soft and comfy with crisp, fresh linen and fluffy duvet.And the wrap-around balcony we got (Room 10), went forever- you could do your morning jogging laps around it you wanted!! Wish we had packed the kids' scooters...!!

HUGE, comfy room with breathtaking views.

We picked up the key, paid in advanced and were left to our devices. This would suit a small family or couples looking to get away for a weekend. As stated previously a fantastic view with a big balcony. Great location, right in the heart of Montville, opposite a lovely pub with great meals and live music. Additionally if you like to shop and browse or take a bush walk through some lovely scenery, this is all within easy reach.Thank you we loved our stay!

Spacious with a great view

spacious apartment on the Main Street of this quaint little town. Good place to get away from the rat race and relax. Huge bathroom with jetted spa and separate shower. Area has great views and even staying in the 'street view' room, you can still see a small view of the ocean. Only problem is there is no wifi.
