Surprised my vegan Daughters with this most wonderful & serene stay! I mention vegan because they absolutely adore all animals & there was certainly an abundance of both the four & two legged variety. Georgia our host was wonderful from the moment of booking, to the very generous supplies of cereals, milk, eggs etc! We totally relaxed & the silence at night was deafening. Loved it all. To also look out the lounge room windows & see beautiful Deer just peering back at us was truly amazing. 

Stayed for 2 nights, great view, great hospitality, great amenities (towels, kitchenette, washing machine & dryer, bacons, eggs, fresh milks etc). They prepared small boat for the lake. My family really enjoyed our stay. Definitely Will come here again and recommend to all. Superb 😘

If you are looking to down tools and just get away from it all, this is definitely the place.  Add in some friendly cows, King Parrots who eat out of your hand and a herd of beautiful deer, this place has it all, comfort, peace and tranquility.  Loved and appreciated the breakfast provisions and fresh eggs! We walked in to a warm toasty cottage with a log fire already on. We had a wonderful feast for breakky the next morning and were able to just reheat our dinner the first night which we bought from a local cafe in Druin.  Gracefield is well situated in beautiful Gippsland to visit Toorongo Falls and the Trestle bridge at Noojee, great drives through amazing farmlets.  One night was not enough, we are planning our return, thankyou so much, you have renovated the cottage beautifully. Dont get rid of the chesterfield, I could have stayed there all day! We went as a couple however it is well suited for families if you were thinking of visiting for the ski fields, it would be amazing in winter! Well done Gracefield, you are on our top list of return places.

pleasantly surprised. the photos dont do this place justice. is such a clean, well cared for cosy cottage. the bathroom, toilet, all rooms were all clean. the provision of breakfast was great. really glad we chose a place with a fireplace as we were able to make smores. there were beautiful birds around and the cows were beautiful but it didnt smell like a farm. management were quick with replies and were informative and lovely. wouldnt hesitate to stay here again. thank you gracefield cottage

Lovely cottage in peaceful surroundings. Cute as a bug fit out of this 2 storey accommodation.
Whilst billed as a working deer farm, we noticed a distinct lack of said critters around the cottage. In fairness, I think that the main paddock adjacent was not being utilized the weekend of our stay - still the kids were looking forward to meeting some 4 legged locals.
One thing to point out however, is that whilst both bedrooms are located upstairs, there is no toilet or bathroom facilities on that floor. Therefore, if you need to answer a call of nature thru the night, you have to negotiate the quite steep stairs. This may prove a problem for people with mobility issues.
Overall though, a really lovely place to stay and we wished that we had more than the one night there. Very charming country retreat.
It is a quality destination and we will be back when we can.
The bacon and egg packs provided for breakfast are delicious - possibly the BEST bacon I have ever tasted, which I believe comes from a local butcher.
Cereals, milk and tea/coffee also supplied.
Would have rated 5 stars if not for the minor points mentioned.
