Had overnight stay good welcoming clean room great bed not noisy will stay again would recommend to others for overnight stay to break travelling or quiet night away from Melbourne.
Avon food takeaway and cafe great place for breakfast or lunch.


Thank you so very much for looking after us when we turned up for an unplanned stop over in Stratford with a baby. The rooms are clean and very practical. With undercover car parking, lovely heating and nice bathrooms. We are very comfortable here.

Unexpectedly I needed to stay the night, as I was only an hour away from my destination, but too tired to drive. It was late and I didn’t expect to find a place to stay, but the motel manager was so kind and made up a room for me at short notice. 

The room was not fancy, but it was not bad for a budget motel. It was clean, warm, and met all my needs. It also had a little bar fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster. This is very handy, particularly since nothing in town is open after 8pm other than a service station.

The only negative thing I could say is that the noise from the highway was quite loud, but that was to be expected, since it’s so close.

Most roomy and spacious.
Particularly welcome attention for breakfast. We were in a very large group and we were all well looked after.

We stayed for a relatives wedding in Stratford, The room was older but recently refurbished, and was clean, comfy and provided everything we needed as a family of 3. Easy parking, the room was large with a good sized fridge and fluffy towels.Theres a garden area with a bbq.The lady at reception was lovely. Tariff was reasonable, considering the long weekend. Would definitely stay there again.

It was a small room, that is quite oldish but it was clean, bed comfy, tv, fridge, small table and chairs. Wasnt expensive and we were not there much except for sleeping. Bakery and pub across the road did us for tea and breakfast.

We got to the motel to a very warm welcome, from Mai, she told us because the motel doesn’t have AirCom she had put a pedestal fan in our room, even though it did have a very good ceiling fan. 
The room was a good size and very clean. And although it was close to the main road, we did not have a problem with noise, as there isn’t a lot of traffic any way.
The weekend we stayed the Temperature soared, but the room remained quite cool, we even turned the extra fan off as was not required. It is very close to Pub, bakery, IGA and cafes.
Mai was amazing nothing too much trouble, and ready to help in any way she could. Thank you
Ok no wi fi but hey no problem, if it is a problem 10 minutes to Sale, shopping centre, 
We would definitely stay again if in the area again

Recently visited needing a twin room at short notice.
Lovely lady at reception very obliging and super polite.
Room had double and single beds, large bathroom, heater and electric blankets on both beds. 
It was very clean and fresh although it has been in this quaint town for a while.
Breakfast can be arranged if wanted.
Reasonable charge.. recommended.
