I love staying in the northern beaches when visiting Mackay and am so happy to see my favourite venue back up and running again. It feels as though you have the whole beach to yourself when you stay at Kohuna. It's private secluded and great value for money and now it's been refurbished it's even better! 

Accommodation is quiet and set amongst well kept gardens.  Lovely pool area and restaurant.  The current manager was extremely helpful and showed us through a number of cabins to best fit us. The staff were wonderful.  Definitely recommend this place for all.

Lovely unit quiet comfy beds. Had a self contained unit which had everything we needed. The staff were super friendly. Kids loved the pool and being so close to beach.

What a beautiful little place so close to the beach ! Best pool to swim in and beautiful clean grounds with friendly people around. Plenty of bird life and even a friendly little possum came and said hello. 😊

We have enjoyed the resort facilities on a few occasions now meeting friends at the bar and restaurant area.  The service is personal, friendly and professional. The pool facilities are fantastic, great for families. There a tennis courts available but we are yet to use the.  I love how the resort facilities are open up to locals, this resort can make it a great relaxing day by the pool, meet up with friends or families for a quiet drink and lunch  for those that live just nearby not needing somewhere to stay.   They also cater for meetings and functions at very reasonable rates.  Well worth thinking about for your next function or office meeting.  Go on give them a try, support local business. 😀

Beautiful resort hidden away in Mackay

Great to see Kohuna open again

Well worth the visit

Holiday

Stayed the night after a lunch event. Waited 20 minutes at counter to check in before any one attended the counter. Understaffed as the guy mentioned to me. Room was over priced for what it was, very out dated but clean so that's good. Attended the Restarant for dinner that night but not open and we were without food as we expected to go to the Restarant.
