We had a lovely stay at the B and B.  Walking distance to town, a park across the street and great breakfast every morning.  Jennifer was the perfect hostess, even allowing us to do laundry.  I wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay at this superb B&B. We were absolutely stunned when we first set foot in the front door, the ambience and old world charm of this B&B is amazing. The rooms are immaculately furnished and decorated and very comfortable. Breakfast exceeded all expectations.

This B&B was beautiful with all the old artifacts and lovely garden.  Although built in the 1800's it had all the comforts we needed. The owners, Jennifer and George, were friendly and accommodating.  The cooked breakfast was not only picture perfect, but delicious with homemade bread, jam and butter.   We wished we could have stayed longer.  We highly recommend this lovely place.

We stayed at the Ashton Gate Guest House for 3 nights on arrival & another 1 night before departure. We found Jennifer a lovely hostess - nothing was a problem. the house was presented lovely, clean & the fixtures & fittings were completely in style with the Victorian house built in 1880. very close to the township & great restaurants/cafes. would highly recommend

Sadly this place is closing soon. Victorian house furnished appropriately but with modern comfy bed and large rooms. Great communal sitting room. With complimentary tea, coffee etc. Also port and sherry. Feels like stepping back in tome. The breakfasts are excellent.
