Mount Roland Country Lodge

Stunning! This beautiful B & B really has the Wow factor. Situated in a picturesque country area with a stunning view of Mount Roland, the lodge really is suited to the surrounding environment. Homely and beautiful. Karina and Ian were very welcoming and fabulous hosts, providing us with some ideas of places to visit. Breakfast was yummy, lovely accommodation and the wood fire kept stoked thru out the day. We stayed in the Deluxe Queen Bedroom Suite, which had an external glass enclosure area overlooking the garden. On a cold afternoon we loved sitting here on our comfortable chairs, sipping coffee and just watching the birds and insects flitting around enjoying themselves in the lovely gardens. Our bedroom was warm, cosy, very clean and tastefully decorated. The bed was comfortable and the room quiet. The location was great for us, being only a short drive to Sheffield and not far from interesting places to visit. We found our stay very relaxing and we especially enjoyed listening to the sound of birds chirping, ducks, geese and cows. Would highly recommend this B & B to others.
