BIG4 Cane Village Holiday Park

Me and my girlfriend stayed here for one night. Nice clean park with very kind staff and for a reasonable price. The lady at the reception was very sweet. She even even helped us with our next destination 
We had a very good experience and we would definitely recommend this holliday park.

Caneland Cottage is presently only one on this Park property. Plenty of room with 2 generous Bedrooms, 2-Way bathroom, well appointed kitchen, dining table for 4, 2 x 2 seat lounges, decent sized TV (at the right viewing height!) Very clean throughout and all in a quiet rear section of park. Well worth the few extra dollars & would be great for longer stays if required as very liveable space, close to Bundaberg Shops, Showgrounds & Airport.

The cabins are so spacious particularly our daughters family cabin amazing It was great to have such a big outdoor table chairs to sit at while away with our daughter and family at such a sad time for us  all. The pool area was great to just try n forget our worries

Lovely caravan park. Clean, well kept and modern facilities. Lovely grassy camp sites. Great facilities. I arrived late and they were very accommodating. On the edge of town to nice and quiet. Was travelling by myself and felt very safe. Highly recommend! 

Very well maintained park with a tropical feeling with all the plants around the cabins.   Caravan sites didn't appear to be on top of each other.  Staff were lovely.   We stayed in a Hinkler Villa.  One of the few parks that actually has lounge chairs and a dining suite to match the beds.   The cabins are well appointed, clean and the living area quite roomy.  As well as a car space beside the cabin, the villas had a big covered outdoor area with a big wooden table setting which also sat 6 people comfortably.   Around a 5 minute drive to a big new shopping centre for supplies, or a short walk around the corner to an Aldi.

We had 3 nights here in June to attend a sporting event. Lovely, well maintained park. Staff, especially Dawn, was just helpful and kind. Easy walk or 2 min bike ride to Aldi, Coles and shops. Really great park.

Highly recommended in all aspects! Very friendly and accommodating staff....beautifully clean and well maintained grounds...individual bathrooms, cleaned daily...spacious sites! Affordable rates!
Walking distance to major shopping centre and close to CBD!
You would be very hard pressed to find a reason not to stay here! Find out for yourselves!

Super friendly helpful staff, clean and tidy cabins.  Close to all services.  Great facilities, look forward to our next stay so we can take advantage of all on offer.  Quiet surrounds.  Great value for money

Pool was lovely, amenities private and clean and staff were lovely. Place was spacious and quiet. Would book again in future. We stayed 3 nights and could have happily stayed more. Very decent pricing for camping.

Went and spent Easter weekend at the Big4 Cane Village Holiday Park.

From the get go Dawn at Reception was amazing. Always polite and ever so helpful.

Arriving late our cabin was easy to find thanks to map and keys being left out for us. Our cabin was clean, spacious and had everything we needed. Aircon was super cold. Spare blankets found easily. Bbq area has everything you could need to cook a great feed and was spotless! Not a mess in sight. Pool was easily accessed but due to being freezing we skipped that. It was however very clean.

Spacious Cabin with real living spaces

THE GOODS:- For the price of $115, cabin 58 is a great deal. It's towards the back of the park away from the main road. Has everything you need apart from wardrobes & room for 4 suitcases (accommodates 4 people). Well presented park & cabin. Nice gardens, green manicured lawns, Dawn on reception sounds friendly on the phone (haven't met her yet). Locked box & key return box  for late arrivals & early departures. Water is hot, shower pressure good, bed (though squeaky & possibly cheap mattress) was comfortable. Close to shops, servo & the park itself is quiet.' Cabin car park is concreted & the size is great for my long 4WD. portable Cooktop, fry pan, toaster, jug all supplied. Cabin is very clean. and has a commercial looking kitchenette. (stainless steel benchtop/racks). 20 minutes to nearest beach.

THE BADS:- > Entrance to many cabins (including mine) have 2 steps & my shower has a large tray edge (see pic) so not suitable for disabled people or those with mobility issues. > No wardrobes/drawers/bedside tables or bedside lights > Not enough space  for more than 1 person unless they fit under the bed. > hoons in cars racing on the main road at night so the burnout noise carries. > Park is directly across the road from the regional airport so yes you hear the planes taxing in and out & they go over head when landing and taking off (didn't bother me but a heads up for you) >They still have the seeds from the palms trees dropping on the cabin roofs & my car roof so that's annoying (see poor review from years ago). > unless 2 people sit on the bed bunks & 2 at the kitchen table there's nowhere to sit and watch tv for 4 people which is on top of the fridge is front of the air con unit. > not enough room for 4 people to sit at the table & others fit at the sink at the same time, (2 stools in the corner for 3rd & 4th persons). relatively small shower space.

GENERAL INFO:- No pets allowed in park & no smoking. (Both are much to my delight). Pool looks well presented & clean. No makeshift clotheslines allowed. Reception doesn't open until 8am. (Later than many parks)

CABIN 58:- I will let management know that 2 of 3 lights aren't working > front screen door not sliding properly & the screen is broken > kitchen window doesn't open at all.
Not sure if this one is renovated or not as someone mentioned in another review some have been. 

OVERALL:- I would recommend this Big 4, and I would recommend cabin 58 (but for solo travellers, couples & families of 4 with little children). Thanks for the stay!

Well presented, clean and good for the price 

We had an overnight stay which we needed to change, Chris was very helpful sorting something for us. She made us aware of the limitations of the cabin however we weren't prepared for how small it actually was. It was comfortable enough for 1 night but definitely too small for an extended stay.
We arrived just after 5pm and reception was closed but access to a key safe was easy and following the map was simple.
We had very loud and obnoxious rear neighbours, no fault of the park but it certainly detracted from what we were hoping would be a restful night.

Best Big4 RV camp

We chose to stay here because we belong to the BIG4 membership club. The park is very well maintained in a good position and the service was fantastic. We are not sure if we will stay for 3 or five nights and that didn't seem to be a problem when I booked in, we will decide tomorrow how long to stay depending on how much there is to see here.

Amazing

Clean and tidy park. Spacious easy to park van. Kids enjoyed riding their scooters around. Pool was nice and clean.  The park would be better if it had a playground for little kids to use. Clean amenities and lots of them. 
Receptionist was lovely.  We drove to Elliot Heads , Coral Cove, Monrepo and Bargara it only took 30 minutes. 
Will definitely visit again.

Very close to cbd and shopping centres

Big 4 parks can generally be relied upon to be a good place to stay this one is no different. From the brief look around there were plenty of caravan spots still available and the cabins all looked the same and were in good order. 
Our cabin was two bedrooms with a double & two singles. Clean and set out with all that was needed for an overnight stay, two couches, dining room table, electric hob/ oven and a decent size fridge. I think there’s a pool, though we didn’t use it or look for it 
Location is on the way into town and from there it’s easy to get to shops or any of the Bundy attractions. For what we needed it for it was just the job, we’d stay there again. 

Good Overnight Stay

This is one of the best BIG 4 we have stayed in. The staff are very friendly and helpful.  We stayed in a cabin this visit which was spotless and had everything required for a comfortable stay. 
We have previously visited with our van and the sites were a good size, the amenities very clean.
Everything is very clean and well maintained. 
Walking distance to sports club for great meals. Shopping centre close by.
Definitely recommend staying at this park.
