Byron Links Apartments

We’ve stayed several times over the years and again this month.  It was like coming home.
Great apartments.  Spacious, comfortable and a lovely environment.  Friendly and helpful management.

We had a ground floor with a beautiful private garden.   Very relaxing.

We just had a fabulously relaxing 4 nights at Byron Links - and played golf every day at the great Byron Bay Golf Course right next door. Shona was the most friendly, helpful host who made sure we enjoyed our stay at Byron Links. Do yourself a favour - work out how to spend some time in Byron Bay at Byron Links. 

The units at the Byron Links Apartments are brilliant. There are a number to choose from with various views. We were fortunate to be overlooking the Golf Course and it was beautiful The staff were hospitable and made the stay extremely pleasant.

What a lovely surprise awaited us when we arrived after a long drive. A wonderful three bed apartment, with patios front and back. Spacious and open plan downstairs, and upstairs one double and one twin room sharing a bathroom, and a king size bedroom with ensuite and balcony. In the grounds is a swimming pool and tennis court, with access to the golf club next door.
Negatives are few, but a map of the grounds and apartments would help as it took a while to find ours, and it is a way out of the town, too far to walk, with a half hourly bus service. Would I stay there again? Yes, but might prefer something nearer town

Byron Links Apartments were all we could have wanted. I had requested an upstairs three bedroom apartment overlooking the golf course, and got that without any problems.
Ivan was very obliging and a great host, nothing was a problem.
The apartment was very large with 3 upstairs bedrooms with 2 upstairs bathrooms and laundry. Downstairs had a very big open plan kitchen, dining and lounge that opened to a large deck area overlooking the golf course.
For keen golfers wanting comfort it was superb, the facilities have a nice garden area and entrance, a pool and tennis court, unfortunately the pool was being repaired over winter.
The apartments are 5 minute drive to Byron town centre and a 3 minute drive to Suffolk Park and a 50 metre walk to the golf course, perfect for our needs.
Great stay and I would recommend to anyone but perfect for golfers!

Paradise Itself

We Booked a 2 night stay in a 3 bed apartment that looked like we'd just fallen through a hole in time back to the early 1990's. Whilst clean enough, the poor original fittings were showing their age and the whole complex needed a revamp. As these are obviously rented on behalf of the individual owners, I can only imagine that would be a near impossible task and they will just continue to fall further into disrepair. 

This place is a reflection Byron Bay in general. It's way past the time that it needs a complete makeover. There are potholes everywhere, it is shabby and unkempt. The price of parking is ludicrous all year round and it is populated with backpackers, undesirables and rich snobs. Give Byron a miss and head to Burleigh heads or even better the Sunshine Coast.
