Comfortable, clean, secure. Units open onto a vista of pure tranquility.... the lake, wildlife up close and space. Despite our stay being during the first week of the year, at the height of the Summer Holidays, it didn't feel crowded. We will definitely be staying again.

The building itself is older but boy what a great stay. It was so relaxing with beautiful views and lovely surrounding countryside. The amenities were excellent, we really enjoyed the infinity pool and lake and the roast dinner on Wednesday night was good too, that is the only evening the restaurant is open so you really need a car to stay here

the Cedar Lake Country Resort has proven to be a very relaxing weeks holiday, with incredible bush and lake views, good walks and excellent family friendly amenities.

The lake supports canoeing and pedal boats, while the pool is pleasant and well supplied with loungers. there is a well equipped Games room, tennis courts, both golf and mini-golf, as well as a Wednesday evening  "roast dinner"

Lovely resort, older but well maintained.  Lots of space and things to do for families or a quite break for those wanting to get away somewhere quite but close enough to the Gold Coast if you want.

Just a Beautiful spot with wildlife all around

We had the absolute best week staying at this beautiful hidden gem. The setting was stunning, all amenities were clean and tidy, and staff were friendly and helpful. Special shout-out to Sharon at reception who helped us book experiences and was so lovely and kind! We enjoyed the BBQ meet n greet and Wednesday Roast, golf, pool and spa. Location wise it was easy to get to everything we planned and it was great at the end of each day to come back to the quiet calmness of the lake. 

It is an amazing place to take the family, young and old kids.  They have plenty of activities you can do , golf, paddle boats, canoes, mini golf and tennis, and a 1/2 basketball court.  They have a lovely pool and spa.  It was a very relaxing holiday.

Beautiful place for the family to stay. Loved all the amenities, lots to do and beautiful location.

This was a nice little get away very relaxing very quiet and peaceful we will be coming back to stay again.

Large and very clean rooms. Plenty of fun activities within the property and good central location to tourist hot spots as long as you have a car. Quiet location with plenty of wildlife. Shading over main bedroom and living area would help reduce morning heat entering the rooms as no air con in bedroom. Staff were lovely

Hidden Gem

We choose Cedar Lake most holidays, as if gives the kids a bit of freedom, without being unwatched by us being so close. It is always a peaceful and relaxing getaway which we enjoy every holidays and will continute to choose Cedar Lake for our family memories and holidays. I have been coming to Cedar Lake for over 30 years, and it is the most enjoyable place to be. Far enough a way from the hustle and bustle but not too far away from it if that is what you are wanting! Highly recommend

Family And Friends Holiday

This is a first visit to this hidden gem. It is in the bush with a calming perspective on the hilly bush around. The restaurant is. Loved but Nerang is close by to refill the pantry. The activities are great for children. There is wildlife around. The outdoor poop is heated. There are kayaks etc for exploring the lake. The positioning of the units is  good so privacy is achieved.
Thank you to the staff. A Restful break was achieved.

This is a wonderful place to recharge your mojo!

Resort is fantastically located for country hikes, theme-parks or beaches.Staff were fantastic. Although l had a stove top that blew safety switched and a toilet that constantly leaked apon moving into the unit, the stove was fixed promptly, the toilet (even with two attempts whilst l was there) still was faulty when l finished my stay two weeks later. This being said l would gladly stay here again.

Fantastic Country Location.

This is a great resort to base tours of the local region including Canungra, Mount Tamborine and other must do beauty spots such as Hinze Dam and Natural Bridge. There are local wineries to explore and great local produce to procure. Indulging in a glass of wine after a great day outside your room watching the local wallabies play is a fantastic way to relax and unwind.

Great Location to explore the Gold Coast hinterland

Some of the furniture was a bit old, but the staff were very helpful in providing information about hiking trails and even printed directions to a couple of places they recommended. Well cared for grounds. I think whoever stayed in my unit before me fed ducks and geese from the backdoor (even though people are requested not to do so). The first few days they appeared every afternoon - the goose even tried to waddle inside! Air conditioning only in lounge room, not in bedrooms.

Comfortable and friendly

If you are wanting to get away and relax, I feel this is a place to visit.  The staff members were friendly and very helpful.  The location is pretty and very well maintained, with plenty of included activities, such as kayaking,  peddle boats, tennis, an extensive activity room, pool, jacuzzi, sauna, mini golf and golf etc. and a great outlook over a pretty lake with a variety of bird life, kangaroos and wallabies. Rooms appear to be dated, but ours was very clean and well equipped.  You have to pay for an internet connection, which would be my only complaint, although I believe they are going to have this service in the rooms in the future.
