I was highly impressed with the capable and stylish manner of how they dealt with situations, the bar staff were amazing and the the service was next to none… highly recommend… accommodation was great and food was exceptional, look forward to our next stay…

Monday night $20 parmie. Have to say it’s the best parmie I’ve ever ordered! 
Parmie was huge and thick with a great ratio of batter and sauce with generous amount of cheese! Staff were friendly and welcoming! 
High five RAVO!

We had our annual Christmas Lunch for a Seniors Group we facilitate at the Ravenswood. Everything was exceptional from the original booking arrangement, the wonderful Christmas Lunch Set Menu and the professional and friendly staff.
This venue is one of our favourites and set in magnificent surroundings.
Highly recommend!

Great pub, great location, great staff, great food, great prices.  Only problem is a long line to order food. Not a very big area for smokers and parking can be a problem because of the popularity of the hotel during summer or sunny days

This is such a lovely venue,  especially on a hot day.  We met for lunch and sat outside under the shady trees near the river. Service was fabulous. Prices were very fair. The food was delicious. We had to show proof of double Vax but we were aware before we left home as it was clearly advertised on the website. Would definitely recommend this venue. 

Lovely surprise with the food, the pub itself and the garden on the river. Had a simple fish and chips which was delicious in the outside area next to the river, lovely experience will come again. Someone has put a lot of work into the hotel

Cant fault meals out there. we have the seniors lunch and always good choices. Lovely now summer is coming to sit over looking the river.  food always comes out fairly quickly and nicely presented. good staff too

Went to the Ravenswood again for lunch today.  I had the carbonara which was delicious and my husband had the steak sandwich which he said was tender and delicious and he would definitely have again.  Great place.  Will definitely go again. John & Gail Laney

Restaurant review: We hadn't been here in a while, so took a lovely early spring drive and landed here for lunch. I had the steak sandwich/burger ($28.50?) and my spouse had the Big Bird (chicken) burger ($24.50?).

The steak burger was FULL of well-charred steak, so much so that I had to remove and not eat the bun after a few mouthfuls to avoid overfilling myself! In addition to the heap of steak was beetroot, english spinach, a sharp grated cheese, a couple of slices of bacon, some caramelised onion/onion jam, and some BBQ sauce. The chips were EXCELLENT---hot and crisp. The burger fillings were great, but the bun seemed stale, dry, and was stodgy, which is why I removed it.

My spouse's chicken was deep fried and had a really crispy batter, but there was perhaps a little too much batter as he left quite a lot of the crispy bits on his plate. He said the chicken was moist, but the batter had little taste (perhaps it could've done with some spices/chilli flakes?) and the slaw with it was fine. He also loved the chips. And also said his bread roll (slightly different bread/topping to mine) seemed dry and stale.

Overall, we were pleased with our meals---they were certainly BIG servings, and in future we may just share a single burger and get an extra side of chips. 

The location on a lovely spring day is just gorgeous and peaceful.


We had lunch at the Ravenwood Hotel last week and was most enjoyable.  I had the carbonara which I asked for without mushrooms and was delicious.  My husband and friends had fish and chips.  Good value and service and the setting is to die for.  Will be returning sooner rather than later.

Lovely Lunch Date

Had Fish and Chips for lunch and it was amazing so fresh, the fish must of just been caught as the head was still on and it kept moving every time l tried to have a bite,  The more l drank the more it moved,  highly recommended, There was an old granny next to me when she wasn’t looking l took her fish of her plate and ate it nice 👍

Had the excellent 'dirty burger' (pulled pork burger, $19.50) - very filling, very tasty, chips very hot and crisp. On another visit a week earlier, had the seniors fish and chips ($14.50)---again, nice and hot with hot and crisp chips. Views over the Murray River are so peaceful too!
