We loved La Carmelita! The place was relaxing, friendly, and beautiful. It was an easy place to spend some time and enjoy the sunshine and the grounds. The hosts are so generous, warm, and kind, and we enjoyed chatting with them. They made us feel welcome and were very helpful in making sure we had everything we needed in San Rafael. Not least, the food was amazing!!!! The dining experience was a true joy as everything was homemade and prepared with local, fresh ingredients each day. You could enjoy a bottle of wine and watch the sun go down as you ate. This is a very special place and I'm glad we found it. I hope to be back some day!
