Hotel Caupolican

Hotel Caupolicán is located in the centre of San Martin de los Andes at 1.2 km of the bus-station. The hotel apparently dates from the 19-thirties when Argentine was one of the riches counties in the world. The hotel still is most charming and pleasant. Very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel and offers 40 rooms over 3 floor. At floor 3 you find a children’s play room, a bridge & chess room and a Finnish sauna. At floor 2 is the breakfast room. At floor 1 is the the nice lobby with fireplace and a non-serviced bar. Free parking next to the hotel. Free Wi-Fi. Our spacious suite was nicely furnished and decorated, with a bedroom and a separate sitting room with fireplace, club-chairs & table, fridge and wardrobe. The bedroom had a very good kingsize-bed with good bedlinen, TV on the wall, large wardrobe. Windows can be opened. We had two separate bathrooms, both with toilet, washbasin, bidet and shower over the bath. Daily house keeping working all very clean. Breakfast is in Italian style with an impressive choice of pastries, bread & toast, butter & marmalade, croissant, cheese and ham, scrambled eggs, orange juice, cereals & yoghurt, freshly made fruit salad, tea and coffee. We found hotel Caupolicán very comfortable and we had a pleasant stay. Highly recommended.
