Zonda Hostel

Zonda Hostel is close to the bus station in San Juan and convenient to downtown. The rooms are large and well appointed, with fans and windows. It is hot in San Juan and this is important! The bathrooms are very clean and the water very hot. This hostel is close to downtown and anything you might need is nearby. It was a private house built in the 60s and has a garden. Best of all, the staff - Carlos, Ivana and Tata - are helpful and friendly. They smile while answering any questions you might have about the area. The kitchen is clean and well appointed with all the small extras you might need to cook dinner. Breakfast is included -- bread, jam and butter along with coffee or tea. There were kittens there during our stay, parented by a pair of friendly cats - one white and one black. We were waylaid on our way back to Cordoba and were able to spend the afternoon there while awaiting our bus. The staff is great. There is free wifi.
