Having stayed at numerous cabanas on my annual trips to cordoba province, La Amelia has to rank as one of the best that I have frequented. My first priority is always cleanliness. The owners obviously take pride in that the grounds were well kept, the pool very clean, and the cabana itself, immaculate. 5 adults, including 90 yr. old grandma had very comfortable quarters with full kitchen, living room, 2 bedrooms, full bathroom and parilla. By North American standards, very reasonable price. The nice surprise was a delivered breakfast every morning,with warm croissants, biscuits and toast. Although we were 5 adults, this resort would also be ideal for young families. Central Mino Clavero is only minutes away, yet one felt the tranquil solitude of being away from the busy tourist areas. Mino Clavero is also one of the cleanest towns, I've been to in Cordoba Province. Perhaps "hidden gem" is an overused expression but we indeed felt fortunate in stumbling onto this very fine accomodation.
