Bla Guesthouse

When my friends and I jumped on Hostelworld to find a hostel and booked BLA! for a few nights, we chose it because it was cheap, not because we were looking for the nicest place in town. As soon as we arrived, we were greeted warmly by Faqundo, who gave us service that made us feel as if we were in a 5-star hotel. He gave us suggestions of what to do in town, showed us our rooms, and told us to see him if we needed anything. Kind and professional. The room was spotlessly clean, as were the bathrooms. Being the end of their season, it was very quiet, which my friends and I actually really appreciated. The location is great, just a block or two down from the main road, but far enough to have a quiet feel, and right down the street from the world's best Waffle Place! If you are looking for a party hostel, this is probably not the place for you. If you are looking for a nice, relaxing, peaceful clean guesthouse with a homey feel, and amazing service from the employees, then this is the place for you. And all that at such a low cost... I could go on. Last thing: They have a fully stocked kitchen and even offer a free simple breakfast. I would recommend this Guesthouse if you ever visit El Calafate.
