Visited today for the OAP lunch deal. Was lovely, 3 courses for£10.00, home made lovliness. Leek and Potato Soup, Pulled beef brioche salad and french fries then desserts Lemon Drizzle cake, lemon cream and vanilla ice cream for my wife and home made waffle caramel sauce and ice cream for me. Well worth a visit

    What was good

    The location was perfect. Next to the river, next door but one to the Cathedral and in the town with a handy carpark over the road.

    I was given a lovely double room with twin beds. The room was clean and had all the facilities I needed. I also got the sound of the river below my window which was so relaxing.

    Very clean

    Staff were really friendly and helpful.

    What was bad

    Nothing to say.
