First visit to The White Horse and we will definitely be back the food was absolutely amazing, the service was fabulous and they are dog friendly. Was spoilt for choices on all of the food choices, but especially on the desserts l. I could of quite easily tried them all so will have to keep coming back until I do.

Another lovely stay at The White Horse, Sibton.  It’s no wonder we enjoy coming here especially with friends.  There is a lovely, relaxed atmosphere and all the staff are so welcoming and professional, nothing is too much trouble. The food was excellent as usual.
 
We were very pleased to see Gill and Neill this time and catch up with them.

Owners very helpful and pleasant. Ample parking and short walk to accommodation. Dinner was excellent both in choice and presentation and taste, Breakfast there was a lot of various choices and again cooked fresh to order. Overall an excellent venue.

We like country hotels.  This is a hotel in all but name.  In particular the food is high class restaurant food, definitely not pub grub.  The area is quiet but there is much to see and do within 10 or 20 miles.  The Inn is lovely: comfortable rooms, very friendly and helpful staff, and the food!  Superb.  We had half board which gave us dinner, bed and breakfast, which was good value.  Many guests return year after year; we intend to do the same.  Same place, same week (to coincide with our wedding anniversary) next year.  We really cannot find fault.

Best evening meal we had during a weeks stay in Suffolk.
Service excellent. Staff and owners extremely welcoming and friendly. Made us all feel at home straight away.
Bar and dinning space delightful with lots of character, very relaxed and comfortable.  All made perfect by the exceptional food.  
And how nice to have a proper choice for vegetarians rather than an after thought.
Easy to find and lots of parking.
Would happily return - just wish we had found it sooner.

This place is excellent in every respect, from the owners Neil & Gill through to their hospitality, the accommodation and the food. We cannot fault it and have been coming back year after year - we shall continue to do so too, for as long as we are able. We just love it here.

Just perfect, We were not sure when we booked as it was just a place to stay while we visited friends, but if we are in the area we will go back the accommodation was spotlessly clean. The shower was lovely. What can I say about the pub, well all pubs should be like this. The staff were brilliant and the food was amazing. I don’t ever do reviews as I think I will do that later but this time it needed doing if I could give 6 stars out of 5 I would. Nothing is to much trouble and you are made to feel so welcome.

The host family were very welcoming throughout our stay.The standard of catering was excellent with excellent menu choices.

A warm and friendly welcome, topping a delicious lunch.

A window seat, but still near the fire?  Three amazing courses?  Adnams on tap?  A surprise birthday candle and jaunty tune on my wife’s birthday?  Marvellous.

A hidden gem just off the A12, with fine food, wines, rooms and camping.

We decided to go to Suffolk for New Year’s Eve and had the perfect break. 
Southwold was 15 mins away as was Minsmere, The White Horse is a beautiful old pub just outside Saxmundham and full of character and charm. 
The staff are great and the food is excellent, cooked by manager and chef Neil and the team. 
The accommodation is first class and the rooms spacious and well priced. We had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Exceptional - a must visit

The best pub I have ever been too.

Perfect get away

Although we have eaten here many times this was our first overnight stay. The room is among the best we have had with ample storage, comfortable furniture which fits the room perfectly and most importantly an excellent memory foam mattress. Spotless, warm and quiet.
Neil and Gill are lovely people who clearly enjoy hosting their guests. Neil cooks a wicked breakfast and the fresh fruit salad really was fresh and not tinned.
They have high standards and are quite rightly discerning about their clientele. So refreshing to find a place that cares about quality over quantity.

Among the best we have stayed in.

Just back home after our 6th visit to the wonderful White Horse Inn in Sibton.  I think to stay that many times says something. It never fails to deliver on accommodation and excellent food. Neil and Gill are one of the hardest working couples running a pub. The staff too are so friendly and caring. We stayed in room 3 which was furnished just right. The bed was very comfy and the room cosy warm in a November month. The food is on an another level compared to todays standard pub food. I’m sure it’s not too far from a Michelin star quality and has won awards for its food before now. Excellent choice of ales and wines on offer. The pub has a really nice atmosphere with a log burner in the bar area which was welcome during our stay. Just read the other reviews on here and I’m sure you will be assured of choosing the White Horse for your stay. Excellent base for exploring the area with RSPB Minsmere not far away at all. Aldeburgh which is a charming seaside town is only 20 mins drive from here. Thanks to Neil&Gill for another awesome stay. See you again soon. 

A real gem of a traditional pub but with very high quality food 

We have stayed at the Sibton White Horse many times and have just come back from a three night stay. Once again Gill and Neil were perfect hosts as well as their excellent, friendly staff. We stayed in Room 4 on the ground floor. It has a comfortable bed and a refurbished bathroom with a walk in shower (no bath).
There was a good choice for breakfast and dinner and everything was well cooked, well presented and delicious. Our favourite meal was the featherblade of beef. As good as any top restaurant.
We are looking to come back in the summer.

Another lovely stay

The most friendly pub.  This really is a special place. The friendly atmosphere the excellent food and lovely building all add up to make for a great experience. We stayed overnight in clean an comfortable rooms, we had an excellent meal and enjoyed the company of the owners, staff and customers. I look forward to returning.
