Stayed here  for a business trip and have to say I was blown away by the service received at Runcorn the staff could not have been more welcoming I stay in premier inns up and down the country although this one is slightly dated compared to some of the other inns i couldn’t fault it.

Stayed here during the cold spell as unfortunately our house had a water leak due to frozen pipes , the welcome at reception was warm and friendly very much needed after the stressful time we were going through with our house the rooms although in need of modernising they were warm and clean which is all we wanted for the night .

Usually my company books us in to Hilton Hotels when travelling to meetings but this time, as it was close to the meeting ace I was booked in to the Premier Inn Runcorn. I cannot fault my stay in any way. The rooms were spacious and very clean. The staff couldn't be any more polite at check in and breakfast was one of the best I've had on a business trip.

Stayed here with our small son for a nearby wedding. Everything, from the welcome we received at reception to the cleanliness of our room could not be faulted. Breakfast next day in the Beefeater was great value for money. Would definately stay here again.

First time in a premier inn.  Chose this hotel as a base for Chester zoo, Liverpool and Gullivers world as its central to all. Perfect for a weekend away as a family. 
Staff were friendly and helpful, room was clean and comfortable and the beefeater food was beautiful along with the service. 
We will definitely return again. 

Excellent value for money, good location with friendly and efficient staff, large well serviced room, everything spotlessly clean and comfortable. We would definitely look forward to staying here again 

Just wanted to say a massive thank you to the team at this premeir inn for such a great stay when we visited at the start of march. The two girls on reception who I believe were called Mia and Becca who were nothing but polite and happy to help. 

We were in the extension block oppisite the beefeater which was clean and comfortable. We could also hardly hear the motorway which was great. 

There was a big dance group in at a similar time to us and they handled check in really smoothly and no ask that any guest had was too much trouble. The food in the beefeater next door was really enjoyable and not too expensive. All in all it was a great stay.

Arrived at check-in expecting to be in the main building we always had been before but was pleasantly surprised to be given a room in the newer building and straight away you could see the difference it looked so much more modern and even had that new smell so was very pleased about that. The room was a good size with a nice sized tv sofa bathroom with bath and show plenty of space for toiletries. But the bed is always the showstopper at premier inn and this was no different it was unbelievably comfy.
Was celebrating my birthday so had some drinks in the bar which were all good quality and reasonably priced and also had an evening meal which again was very nice with plenty of choice and good service I actually had a great birthday in this place and everyone else with me also had a great time.
Back in the room slept very well in the amazing bed it was so comfortable I didn't want to get out of it.
Finally breakfast was spot on as always I was feeling a little delicate so didn't take advantage as much as I usually would but I was very satisfied with what I had and it did actually make me feel better for the drive home.
I have stayed at this hotel before a few times but this was by far the best and for the price I paid I couldn't complain about anything it was a bargain

Needed just one overnight stay in the region. It was a comfortable hotel, room was decent. Food was good. The location was ideal for a family event close by. The service at reception and in the restaurant for breakfast and evening meal was very good.


Stayed here whilst we went to a family party and the staff were great from checking in, returning from the party and upon departure.. remembered us and asked how the party was which was lovely. The rooms were spotless!! We’ll definitely be back and recommending should we be in the area again!

New building very impressive

We use Premier Inn for 1 night stop overs and this was for The Open.  We were in the block facing away from the motorway and the room was new, clean and quiet.  I have a bit of a back issue at the moment and was concerned I wouldn't sleep but had the best nights sleep in weeks.  My wife on the other hand said the bed was not comfortable.  It's my review and I don't agree.
The adjacent pub served decent fare as part of the meal deal and for a one night stop over it was fine and the staff were all pleasant.
Its close enough to Liverpool / Chester.

Good Nights Sleep

Stayed here a couple nights ago, and couldn’t ask for anything better. The reception staff were lovely, the room was spotless and everything in general was just fab. Would definitely recommend this hotel to not just friends but to anyone thinking about staying, big thanks to all the staff who made me feel welcome.

fantastic staff and service

I stayed here recently as I was travelling for work and was slightly dubious as I have had bad experiences with other Premier Inns in the past.

Thankfully, this stay was fantastic and I'd definitely stay here again.

Upon arrival the staff in reception were very warm and friendly and made me and my colleague both feel very welcome. Check in was quick and they offered to book us tables for our breakfast which was great.

Unfortunately my room was upstairs which wasn't ideal as I have a knee problem so stairs are a struggle and there was no lift I could use. The staff on reception immediately apologised and offered to change my room to a ground floor room if one was available, however my colleague was staying upstairs anyway so we opted to stay together. Thankfully after deciding this, the man on reception (Miles?) very kindly offered to carry our bags upstairs so we didn't have to struggle. He carried them all the way to our rooms and was chatty and firendly the whole time and made us feel like the staff here really care about the guests. 

The breakfast in the Beefeater the following morning was also great, and the staff in there were cheerful and chatty too. 

All in all, a wonderful stay and I would definitely return!
