Excellent for the price range. A lot better than we had the right to expect for that price. Dinner was good too, so was breakfast, and the service was first class, extremely friendly and helpful. There was a decent parking space too. 

Excellent dining room in a traditional pub close to the town centre. Great hosts, very friendly and accommodating.  Food was great and altogether we had a lovely evening. 
We hope they do well.
We'll be back. (We're just up the road anyway)

Tried the new restaurant last Saturday evening It was fantastic, so different from the old pub, totally transformed into a beautiful 'Dining Room' Lots of atmosphere, great choice (as well as steaks) a talented chef, and caring service. As well as his prices are really good. We will certainly be returning.

visited ringwood for our uncles 90th,our stay here made it all the better,as the lady who runs this place made it all the better.the rooms were neat and tidy and clean,and the breakfast each morning was brilliant.

The Lamb Inn is without doubt the best family run pub/hotel in all of Hampshire. Everything is brilliant, the rooms are very clean with beds very comfortable. The breakfast is freshly cooked to order with s much choice.. Highly recommended

We stayed here for 3 nights. The staff are really helpful, chatty and welcoming. Our room was clean and spacious and bed comfortable.  Nothing was too much trouble. Very kindly made us sandwiches for our journey home . Ideal location for us to visit other areas of the New Forest like Beaulieu and Burley. Thank you  Anita Brumby and Amy, we will definitely return

Had a fantastic stay, room was clean and tidy, bed was comfy. Breakfast was spot on and tasty. Staff absolutely fantastic. Friendly, welcoming, helpful. Made our stay awesome. 100% recommend and will be back. Already looking to book our next stay

My partner and I have visited many times and have never been disappointed! Lovely and friendly staff, very clean and a fabulous atmosphere! They have adhered to covid restrictions brilliantly and we feel very safe every time we visit!

They were low on staff only 3 people I saw behind the bar 
But everything else seems fine to me and my family

Hosts very helpful and friendly. Room maybe a bit dated but the double room was spacious, bed comfortable and shower good. The full English breakfast is all freshly cooked and plentiful. The pub and restaurant are open from Tuesday to Sunday but the hosts will do a meal on Monday evening for guests. We ate twice in the evening and the food was well cooked and prepared. I had steak which was cooked exactly how I ordered it and my wife had home made mushroom stroganoff which was very good. On the other evening my wife had fish and chips with home made tartare sauce. I had home made Chili con carne. Both meals were very good. The hotel is handy for the town which has plenty of choice of cafes and restaurants.

This old and quirky pub is a delight, it's not your typical plastic fantastic chain, it's indie and different.

Rooms basic but nice and clean and tidy with everything you need for an overnight stay. Breakfast in the morning was wholesome, tasty and set us up for the day. A big thank you to the lovely Amy for looking after us.

Wondeful stay

The staff who run the Lamb Inn are wonderful. Kind, friendly and very helpful. They elevated my stay from ‘absolutely fine’ to ‘pleasant and memorable’. 

The home cooked food options on the menu looked appetising, I had the chilli con carne, which was excellent. 

My only negative would be that room was (also) chilly and I woke up early because of this, it was minus 1 outside. An extra blanket would have been nice. 

Excellent value for money, friendly and family run, so everyone seems to actually care about the experience. A good option if you are staying in Ringwood. 

Wonderful staff, family run business

We stayed for one night in the Lamb Inn. The welcome was friendly. The room was comfortable. Both the staff and the local clientele in the bar were fun and we enjoyed the atmosphere. We ate an evening meal and that as well as the breakfast the following morning was good. We would certainly stay there again.
