We travelled over 8 hours with 2 teens and a 5 year old and a dog and I was really worried after reading the negative reviews but we had a lovely week! Bostcastle sea view 3 was not dirty, there was plenty to do and we enjoyed trips into Bude. Would return if we didn’t want to try new places

We just returned from a wonderful weekend at this holiday park and couldn't be happier with our choice. From the moment we arrived, it was clear this place offers something special that sets it apart from the typical overcrowded caravan parks we've experienced elsewhere.

Outstanding Value and Service

The value for money here is exceptional, especially considering the quality of facilities and service you receive. What really made our stay memorable was the staff - every single person we encountered was not just helpful, but genuinely friendly and welcoming. They went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed and always greeted us with a smile.

Intimate and Relaxing Atmosphere

One of the biggest draws for us was the smaller, more intimate size of the park. Even during the school holidays when most caravan parks become chaotic and overcrowded, this place maintained a peaceful, relaxed atmosphere. There was always space to breathe, and the children could play safely without the usual hustle and bustle you find at larger sites.

Top-Quality Facilities

The facilities are clearly modern and very well-maintained - everything has an upmarket feel that's often missing from holiday parks. Our caravan was spotlessly clean and well-appointed, and the entire site is kept immaculate. It's obvious that real care and investment has gone into maintaining high standards throughout.

Perfect for Younger Children

If you're traveling with younger kids, this place is absolute gold. The pirate ship playground was a huge hit with our little ones, and they spent hours splashing about in the small splash park and swimming pool. The compact arcade provided entertainment during the evening, along with the high quality softplay. I should mention that older children might find the activities more limited, but for families with younger kids, it's ideal.

Unbeatable Location

The location strikes the perfect balance - you're surrounded by beautiful scenic views that make for a truly relaxing break, yet you're still conveniently close to local towns and beaches when you want to explore. We loved having both the tranquility of the park and easy access to day trips and local attractions.

 Will We Return?

Absolutely! We're already looking at dates for next year. This holiday park has found the sweet spot between excellent facilities, great value, friendly service, and a peaceful atmosphere that's increasingly hard to find. Highly recommended for families looking for a quality break without the crowds and chaos of larger holiday park.

This the second time, in here we love this resort we love the cabins always very comfortable cousy, a lot of space, it is fantastic that they allow dogs it is cheap foe the quality we will definitely recommend this place we will coming back soon 

We booked this holiday last minute and for the price was very good. Have swimming, soft play, a big ship park, we had evening entertainment which the kids really enjoyed :) swimming only last up to 45 minutes goes really quickly. Food was really nice and we had no problems with drinks I do recommend the passionfruit cocktail they are banging ! Looks and tastes delicious. The caravan was beautifully clean comes with everything we had an issue with the oven door but apart from that was a top holiday and highly recommend…..

Resort is extremely well presented, checking in was simple and fast. Accomodation was excellent, more than enough room for our family of 4 and 2 dogs. Bar and restaurant were busy but service was fast and friendly. Danny and James ( hope I remembered their names correctly) were amazing. There is a real friendly buzz about the place, if you have dogs this is definitely the place for you.

This a beautifully clean site in a spectacular location.  On arrival (5pm, 16/12/22) we were greeted by two lovely ladies on reception who were extremely helpful.  The mobile home, no.80, was in a tucked away location next to a stream and was well furnished, very clean and comfortable.  Walks for the dogs were perfect and you can look right out to sea at the end of the park, or walk down to the shore.  All staff are polite and friendly and there is plenty of entertainment.  The bar is cheaper than you would expect, as is the food in the restaurant.  In the entertainment venue there is plenty to keep you active.  There is also a swimming pool, play park and indoor play area.  Additionally there is a small shop.  All in all this is an excellent park, with excellent staff in an excellent location with Bude and Bideford short distances away.  I highly recommend a stay.

We took our little boy on his first holiday and sandymouth was fantastic. He loved every minute with the pool, indoor play and pirate ship he had the best time ever. The caravan was clean tidy. And had more then we expected. Love it so much we booked to go back again in 8 weeks time. 

We’ve just returned from a visit at Sandymouth resort. We were so impressed with our stay! The biggest pro being how dog friendly the site is. Our dog was allowed in the entertainment, all areas outside and in the restaurant. Great park, soft play and swimming for our little boy. We visited the restaurant one evening and the food was delicious. The staff both in the restaurant and reception were very polite and helpful.  The resort is just under a 5 minute drive to the beach which our little one and dog loved. Walking is absolutely doable but just not with young ones. 
Caravan was to a fantastic standard. We will definitely be returning again!

We have just returned home from a 7 night stay  at this beautiful resort. 
Fabulous welcome from the reception staff, all the staff were lovely from reception staff, bar staff, lifeguards, big shout out to Scott and Lorraine who were amazing and went above and beyond the already exceptional customer service standards for us, thank you so much to you both. Rosie was lovely, we first met her when she served us when we had a our Sunday lunch which was delicious and plentiful, the roasties (which we named Rosies roasties lol) were stunning. 
We stayed in the Coombe Valley Lodge which was really spacious, colourful, comfortable and had beautiful views (the views around the whole site were stunning). 
The entertainment was quiet during our week but Owen and Georgia did the best with not much of an audience, our children are older than the ages that would normally be catered for (from what we saw) so this didn’t bother us at all. They were happy playing on the games tables. 
The pool was lovely and again was quiet during our stay, no complaints there lol however on some days there is both a general swim and swimming lessons.. these days get quite busy and the pool is split to accommodate the lessons so not a lot of space if a few other families are in there too. 
We would absolutely recommend this site and would def return again. 💗 x

We came to Sandymouth for October half term with my parents and 2 kids. Everything was amazing, from pizza parties to Halloween party! Owen and Georgia from the entertainment team were great with the kids! 
Lorraine in the bar and the rest of the team were all excellent! 
Read some reviews on the food not being great but we had 2 fantastic tasty meals there! We certainly couldn’t fault it!

We will definitely be returning!!

Lovely caravan park, quite quiet but plenty to do still. Drinks and reasonably priced at the bar. 
Staff not the friendliest at the bars, won’t help give change for the arcade or cash back so make sure to take coins with you. 
Toilets in the bar have no soap, I told the bar staff 2 nights on a trot, the lady said it’s broke! Disgusting that many people using them with no soap to wash their hands. 
Reception staff super helpful and friendly. 
Lots of items to buy at reception shop if you’ve forgotten something. Only open certain hours though. 
Swimming pool really really heavy with chemicals, my daughter had a reaction to them and lumps all down her body. Anytime you got the water by your eyes it stung bad. 
Park great for the kids. Astro pitch for football.

Honest review

A perfect family get away

We stayed for new year in Boscastle sea view 3  .when we stayed we had terrible storms .Caravan was very draftyvwhich this was reported but wasn't sorted  The staff I think the ladies names were Carla and Lorraine  these ladies are very hardworking very polite and very very helpful   always  smiling and happy very sociable the other staff were also very nice too .The entertainment wasn't the best over new year ,the sat nite was just Owen playing music new yrs eve wasn't the best new yrs day was nothing  ,I understand there's alot of families with young children which they do need entertaining  I've had young children myself but I think there could have been alot more going on for everyone this is just my opinion  it may suit other families .As a resort it's spotless clean  food is excellent  and if the staff can help in anyway they will.

The park is excellent and it is especially geared up for children! Great location and views too. 

However I have some minor pointers: 

1) swimming - we got out the pool and there were no changing rooms available so we’re stood waiting with a 17 month old (which wasn’t ideal) and another family were standing soaking wet waiting too with a little one a similar age. 
2) swimming again - the changing room floor and reception floor were very dirty. A clean down in between sessions would be good I think and also a general mop of the reception area. Going out with damp feet and all the dust and dirt stuck to our feet. 
3) soft play - brilliant!!! However it says strictly under 5s. There were hordes of older children (some 12/13 even!) running around inside which meant our toddler couldn’t play safely so we had to leave here on two occasions. 
4) soft play hygiene- I wonder how often it is cleaned and could it benefit from more as it probably sees a lot of traffic going through every day. 

These things wouldn’t put me off returning again but would go a long way in improving satisfaction I think :)
