Amazing 7 Days spent at marina Court Ilfracombe. Karen & Russ are amazing host and a credit to the hospitality business. Prime location across the road from a beautiful pub. The breakfast and the rooms are outstanding and most of all it was Covid-19 friendly and most of all felt safe. There is no doubt the both of us will visit again. 

Fantastic clean hotel. Karen and Russ could not do more to make you feel welcome and relaxed. We will definitely be back here. Cannot recommend enough. The amenities in the room were excellent and the surrounding area a joy to visit

Karen and Russ are exceptional hosts at Marine Court. Breakfasts are amazing and Russ’s grapefruit and ginger marmalade is to die for! They have excellent COVID-19 measures in place and we both felt comfortable and safe. We stayed in an immaculate Deluxe King room with a sea view and what a view it was! 
The location was excellent and the hill down to the harbour definitely helped burn off the breakfast calories. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and definitely recommend Marine Court either as a holiday base or short stay. Absolutely first class!

Had a lovely stay here for 3 nights, we had a room with partial sea view and it was spotless, well appointed with all you need. Karen & Russ were lovely hosts and breakfast was the best with good quality products and great choice

Very easy to find with good parking facilities. Very welcoming hosts. The executive sea view room was awesome with a great view overlooking Hillsborough and the sea. Breakfasts are fantastic. The quality of the accommodation at Marine Court is a credit to the owners Karen and Russ who clearly work extremely hard.

We would not hesitate to return or recommend to others.

Just returned from a great short break at Marine Court. We were made to feel really welcome by Russ & Karen ,who did everything possible to make their guests feel safe under the current Covid-19 regulations. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the breakfast each morning was superb. We will definitely be returning !

COVID procedures are well planned and work well.
We were made very welcome and thought that by being greeted for breakfast every morning by Christian names was a nice informal touch.
Room was clean, well equipped and suited ours needs nicely.
Breakfast was a treat, lots of choice well prepared.

Just had a fabulous short break at Marine Court, Ilfracombe. Having been many times we new the standard of hospitality we would receive but with the Covid requirements that are enforced at the moment the owners, Karen and Russ and their amazing team, absolutely surpassed themselves with the level of care and attention they have put into place. Along with the use of face coverings, social distancing, and multi point hand sanitising stations, breakfast is on a rotational basis in 2 sittings allowing for the cleaning of tables and chairs etc. Breakfast is amazing and as in previous stays, cooked and served to perfection with a fantastic choice of local produce. Rooms are impeccably clean and are supplied with everything we needed just in a different way to what we have been previously used to but everything worked like clockwork making for a very 'safe' feel for our stay, just sorry to be having to go home so soon 😢
Missing you already!

We have just spent a week at Marine Court and can honestly say ,it was wonderful .Our bedroom was spotlessly  clean ,there was a hospitality  tray that was replenished  when you needed it .The bathroom was lovely with a spacious shower and lovely large towels .The breakfasts were cooked to perfection and Karen made sure you had everything you needed .
Covid 19 guidelines  were in place throughout  the hotel which made us feel really safe and Karen and Russ explained everything in detail  when we arrived .They went out of way to help us with places to eat and places and areas to visit throughout  our stay .We would not hesitate to recommend  this hotel to anyone visiting Ilfracombe. Thank you so much Karen and Russ for everything.We will definately  see you again in the near future .

Our third stay at Ilfracombe and when visiting here would not stay anywhere other than Marine Court. Why? Immaculate, welcoming, fabulous breakfast and a genuine welcome from lovely hosts Karen & Russ. We thank you for making our stay so enjoyable  during what is an anxious time for everyone. Received an extremely warm welcome on arrival, spotless throughout, a credit to the owners. In these difficult times due to Covid 19, Karen and Russ went above and beyond to make us feel safe by implementing all necessary measures. Perfectly located on the edge of Ilfracombe, only a 5 minute walk to the harbour. Onsite parking a bonus. Very comfy beds and quality furnishings throughout. Excellent breakfast cooked to order using quality produce. Will definitely be returning.

We booked a last minute staycation in Ilfracombe and we certainly weren’t disappointed when we booked a suite at the Marine Court. The communication when booking, prior to our arrival and during our stay was excellent and Karen and Russ are the perfect, welcoming and friendly hosts. The hotel is in an ideal location, just a short walk to the popular harbour, a hike up the hill or to the town and local amenities. Our accommodation was wonderful, incredibly comfortable and very clean and we loved our sitting room area, we decided to book a suite as we were staying for 5 nights and it was well worth the extra cost. We stayed in room 2 with a huge, comfy king size bed, modern and good quality furnishings and it was tastefully decorated and had a lovely view of the gardens across the road and a glimpse of the sea in the distance. The breakfast was excellent and followed a socially distanced set up, there’s an endless choice of food served to the table. I’m vegan and there was ample for me to eat and a couple of mornings we even enjoyed a later continental breakfast in our sitting room as I like to go out for a run before I eat. We felt totally at ease staying here during the coming out of lockdown and Karen and Russ are doing an amazing job following all the guidelines to keep their guests and themselves safe. They are very helpful and knowledgeable about the area and happy to assist in any way, especially with local restaurant recommendations, attractions and scenic  driving routes. It certainly was a pleasure to stay here and I’m so glad we chose it, it really was a shame to leave!!
