We spent a night in Los Arcos which is set in the lovely quiet and traditional village of Valor. David and Jill are charming hosts who really care that your stay is as comfortable as possible. There's a fabulous roof terrace with far reaching views across the mountains, several good bars serving delicious local food, and the location on the church square, with easy parking made this a perfect stress-free bed and breakfast. Thoroughly recommended.

We spent 3 amazing nights at Los Arcos in August. A little bit of luxury in the heart of Valor. Dave and Gill's hospitality was second to none. Their hotel is tasteful, pristine and the attention to detail unrivalled in any B & B we have stayed in. It's the little things that count. Like the beautiful breakfast table you walk in to in the morning - with everything you could think of. And the rainbow bowl of fruit - amazing.
A fridge by the roof terrace - full of bottled water, soft drinks and even beer!! Free to guests. Very thoughtful. 
The toiletries too in the bathroom and fluffy white towels, flannels and really nice bath creams.
Decor is simple and stylish, not over fussy, just enough. Very, very clean and smells fresh and fragrant.
We had a nice little private balcony and there is a sitting room/library to relax in too.
The only thing we would personally have liked would have been a kettle and tea making facilities in the room as we like a cup of tea first thing when we wake - or sometimes at night.
Excellent hotel - fabulous stay and really lovely couple.

I have recently returned from a 2 day stay at Los Arcos and I can quite honestly say this B&B is fabulous. Dave and Gill are extraordinary hosts...nothing is too much of a problem and they go out of their way to provide you with everything that you need. One of my friends who travelled with us is gluten free and on our arrival at Los Arcos we were provided with a pot of tea on the spectacular roof terrace and as an added touch Gill had made a gluten free orange and almond cake for my friend...it was delicious and moist and all 5 of us tucked into it wholeheartedly. 
All of the rooms were serviced to a very high standard and were extremely comfortable. I was in what was classed as a "single" room however it could've been classed as a double...a shower to die for with shower gel and shampoo provided...hand wash and a very lovely Aloe Vera hand cream. There is no air con in the rooms however fans are provided and I found this sufficient (and I live in Spain so know how hot it gets). The other 2 rooms that my friends were occupying were equally as nice as mine and their rooms also had their own private terraces.
Up on the roof terrace there iare plenty of seats and also a fridge filled full with an endless supply of soft drinks, water and cerveza and David informed us to help ourselves as it was included in the cost of our rooms...outstanding!!
The B&B itself is situated on the church square and there is ample free parking and just up from there, there is a small supermarket which caters for most needs. 
The breakfast that is provided is fantastic and again my gluten free friend was provided with freshly baked gluten free bread...and there was also gluten free cereals.
Having stayed in many 3/4/5 star ⭐️ hotels in my time some of them would do well to take a look at how Dave and Gill run their B&B and take a leaf out of their book.
If anyone out there wants to stay at this marvelous establishment then get your bookings in asap because in September Dave and Gill are retiring and Los Arcos will be no more.

Simply one of the best B&Bs we have come across. Amazing hospitality; a fabulous situation and a property of real character and quality . Breakfast was out of the top drawer; Room Three was delightful with a fabulous bathroom and a private terrace while the roof terrace must be one of the best views in Spain.

The hotel was a gem of a place to stay in a small town.  The room was spotless, many amenities, and with a lot of character. Our room upstairs had a really nice terrace. The owners were extremely accommodating and friendly, providing information and suggestions.  The breakfast was fantastic.  Although the hotel is in a small town, there is hiking very nearby, providing a look into old almond orchards along the GR-7 trail.  Highly recommend for a day or two.
