Hoyo Hoyo Safari Lodge

We spent 3 nights at HoyoHoyo recently and I would thoroughly recommend it. It is a beautiful and tranquil place to stay but what makes it even more special, are the staff. On arrival, we received the warmest of welcomes from Torence who continued to be so friendly and approachable throughout our stay. The rooms were beautifully cleaned and serviced twice a day and the food was of high quality and just delicious. The staff/ butlers were so cheerful and helpful and Ralph, Colbert and Baldwin deserved special mentions. Lastly, a big shout out to our Ranger, Pharence who took us on safaris twice a day. He went out of his way to try and find us all of the animals we wanted to see. His knowledge of the animals, birds and plants was extensive and there was no question that he couldn’t answer. His humour was great, accompanied by delicious morning coffees and fabulous sundowner G&Ts! An added bonus, was that there is a watering hole opposite the main public area, means that if you are lucky, you can see animals strolling by, whilst you are dining, which was truly lovely. In summary, HoyoHoyo deliver a memorable and positively unforgettable experience. Don’t hesitate, go!
