This was my second visit to Lily Beach Maldives this year, returning in November after an unforgettable stay in January — and somehow, this trip was even more magical. When a place draws you back within the same year, you know it’s special. Lily Beach is exceptional in every way, beautifully and thoughtfully designed with the environment in mind. It truly feels like paradise perfected. Resort & Villa Experience – Pure Luxury: Our overwater villa was an absolute dream — spacious, serene, stunningly decorated, and equipped with every amenity you could want for a luxurious stay. Whether waking up to the sound of the ocean or relaxing in the sun between dives, it was the perfect retreat. The food across all restaurants was consistently delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. The Premium All-Inclusive package remains the best I’ve ever experienced anywhere in the world — generous, high-quality, and crafted to elevate every moment. Exceptional Staff Who Made Our Stay Unforgettable: One of the most remarkable things about Lily Beach is the people. They truly make the resort feel like coming home. • Laurent – Thank you for the warm welcome back and for remembering us from January. Your hospitality set the tone for a fantastic stay. • Waheed (Housekeeping) – An absolute joy to get to know. Our room was always immaculate, and his thoughtful touches meant so much — especially the beautiful bed decoration when we achieved our 650-dive milestone! Waheed even came to the pier to say goodbye, which touched us deeply. • Saeed (Aqua Restaurant & Bar) – Always ready for us after our morning dives, greeting us with friendliness and impeccable service. He made every meal fun and relaxed. • Alin (Buffet Restaurant) – Our dedicated server again, just like in January. Always there with a topped-up champagne glass, a fresh beer or mojito, and a great chat. His warmth made our dinners extra special. • Jinaan & Shaah (Reception) – Wonderful, helpful, and consistently smiling. Especially appreciated Jinaan, who I remembered from my first stay. • Faisal & the Team – Thank you for working so hard to secure us a villa on our last day so we could depart feeling refreshed, despite the resort being nearly fully booked. It made such a difference, and we were extremely grateful. The staff at Lily Beach elevate an already perfect resort into something truly unforgettable. Scuba Diving – The Best of South Ari Atoll with Prodivers: Now for the highlight: the diving. South Ari Atoll offers some of the most incredible underwater experiences anywhere, and the Prodivers Maldives team is the only dive team we will ever go to in the Maldives. • Ludwig was our instructor for the week, and he was exceptional — carefully curating each dive to match what we hoped to see. Thanks to him, we had epic manta encounters, sharks, turtles, dolphins, critters, swirling schools of anchovies, snappers, jacks… the list goes on. Every dive was thrilling. We also dove with Coll, Alyssia, Ateef, and Svengy, each of whom brought their own amazing energy and expertise. Their passion for diving and guest happiness shines through in every interaction. I was especially impressed by how the team listens to each guest. One lady (not diving with us) really wanted to see a peacock mantis shrimp — and the team made sure she got her moment. She came back absolutely delighted… which is exactly the word I’d use to describe my entire diving experience. A shoutout as well to our fantastic boat crew — Captain Naeem and Ismail — who kept everything running smoothly and added fun to each journey. Final Thoughts: A long review, yes — but Lily Beach and Prodivers truly deserve every word. It is rare to find a resort and dive operation that consistently deliver perfection, warmth, and unforgettable experiences. This is why we returned, and why we will return again.
