Ellaidhoo Maldives By Cinnamon Hotel

We spent a week at Ellaidhoo in November and can honestly say it’s a true slice of paradise. The island is stunning- beautifully maintained, spotless and absolutely picture-perfect. The hotel itself is modern, eco-friendly and extremely well looked after, with staff who genuinely care about every detail. The food was fantastic- some of the best we’ve had in any hotel. There’s plenty of variety, including themed evenings such as Asian or Sri Lankan nights, and the quality is consistently high. The All Inclusive drinks were excellent too, with a great selection throughout the day. Our villa was right on the beach with its own sun loungers. The room was comfortable, modern and cleaned daily with fresh towels, and the minibar was restocked every day as part of the AI package. We also loved the small-group excursions- dolphin watching and the local island visit were both amazing experiences. But the biggest highlight of this resort is the staff. Everyone is warm, friendly and genuinely caring- from reception to the restaurant teams to housekeeping. They even remember your names and your usual drinks, which makes the whole stay feel incredibly personal. A very special thank-you goes to Gasim, the reception manager. He was absolutely outstanding- truly exceptional in every way. He took amazing care of us, always with a smile, and made us feel so welcome throughout our stay. And one of the most heart-warming moments was at departure: Gasim himself was waving to us from the pier, along with the rest of the staff- such a memorable and touching gesture. Ellaidhoo truly became our paradise on earth, and these were some of the best holidays we’ve ever had. We highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for relaxation, beautiful nature and a memorable Maldives experience. We will definitely return.
